I’m so thrilled that you are venturing into the wonderful world of embroidery! It is such fun to add a design to a plain tee-shirt and come up with an original piece of clothing! Or embroider a monogram on your towels. It makes wonderful personalized gifts! Give it a try-it’s addictive!
For those wondering, it's 800.00 . Website says: The Sparrow X comes with 100 embroidery designs included. You can easily add new designs with the EverSewn Pro App. The machine reads most common file formats (EXP, PES, XXX, DST and more). Two embroidery hoop sizes included. Enjoy an embroidery area of approximately 4.75 x 7 inches.
I have a small Brother SE400 combo sewing/embroidery machine. I piece, quilt, and label my quilts with this machine. It has served me well, as I'm confident the EverSewn will. Great video.
LOVE that you made this tutorial, I received an embroidery machine for Christmas and literally was looking at the buddies yesterday. This is an awesome birthday gift to me :)
In embroidery nap is refrrred to as "pile", for critter and towels. Nap is as a term use in laying out fabric for a one way direction cute. Pile is use for thickness in embroidery, for anything that will flatten out such as fur or towels. Best to use a tear away in back of fabric to be embrodery, and to float a water soluble so the pile is not flatten or diturbed.
Never thought about it being machine specific. I have Janome's - will this work with them or what must I do. Really cannot purchase yet ANOTHER machine or my hubby will be losing out on room to live here!!
My husband surprised me with a combo Baby Loc. I love it. I have used the clear topper stuff to embroider but I just lay it on top when it starts. It doesn’t move. Less in the hoop
Cute tutorial. I use a Brother embroidery machine for quilt blocks, quilting, garments, quilt labels and assorted household items. I look forward to trying embroidery on one of these stuffed animals.
I love the feature of useing a USB stick for downloading designs and stitch outs. I have the Bernina 830LE, which is a sewing machine, quilting machine and embroidery machine all in one. Embrodery machine are tricky. The less flustrating ones are several thousands dollars. Best to check with a consumers website for a well made and one that supported with a solid warranty and service plan. FYI.
I swore I would never do another one of these when I did the pig a year or so ago. My hoops on my machine are just not small enough to make getting the area in there easy.
i made a quilt with little squares that I embroider flowers and houses came out really cute I also use my embroider machine to made memory pillow using a love one what has pass away and write the poem I use to were this shirt when you hold it know I am here.
I don't think I can send info to my Pfaff like this. I have to be hooked to a machine. The instruction is a good inspiration. I might get into embroidering again!
Andrea Piper it’s one heck of a machine! My absolute dream machine. It even has the power to sew through really thick layers. Where older Pfaff say they need to rest the Icon switches it up a gear and gets it done like the hammer function on a drill. It is a very big machine though so not good for taking to classes but practically perfect in every other way. I love my creative 4.5 but darn have I got Icon envy!
@@honeybadgerzs I am still running my two beloved 2144 machines. Some day I hope to move up but love my babies. I have one that is starting to hesitate on initial start up so she may be retiring but I won't give up on her yet.
I have also gotten hooked on quilting and I absolutely love my Pfaff for that. I have gone to sewing events and used other machines and will stick to my Pfaff until I have to buy a new one. And then it may still be a Pfaff with the IDT foot.

@@Ronibearable will it work with other embroidery software? I already own several software programs and you have to save in a specific format.. so which do you work with? Or are you limited to only their program only, with no importing of outside programing? Is the program Web based like the cricut? This would be very limiting for those of us who don't have great Web access. I had to go with the Cameo for that very reason.
CAUTION REMINDER: FOR SAFETY----- Do not embroider children's names on the outside of bookbags or other items in prominent places. You don't want stranger to know their names.
Eversewn has a Baby Lock, Bernita Brother sewing machine connection, so you will probably have to use Jenome hoops and such. The Eversewn Sperrows are probably more like my wife’s Brother embroidery machine.
@@MissouriQuiltCo I'm sorry I didn't state my question as I should have. Is there an Eversewn connection to Janome. My machine (Janome 12000 is a sewing and embroidery machine.
Donna Steward I looked up Janome on the internet Janome of Japan makes their own machines, their name has a good reputation they’re just another brand, but they embroider as well as any.
I really think this woman should have practiced this before she put this out. It's really not that hard. She had too many layers and the fabric was too thick for a double layer of stabilizer

It was fun watching Jenny as a newbie to machine embroidery! Good quick intro to a wonderful pastime!

Wow! Finally an embroidery machine that uses an iPad, Bluetooth, and more intuitive software. Awesome.

I love Embroidery, although I don't do as much as I would like...I mainly make my Quilt labels on mine...Thank you for sharing this video
Would you do a video on making labels for a quilt?
Robin Blair ooh I second this
Maria J
Oh yes that would be awesome to have a tutorial on quilt labels!
Yes, a tutorial on how to make a quilt label is a great idea!
That's a great idea Robin Blair and something we need to be sure to look more into!
Yes please!

Great tutorial Jenny. Thanks.
You can float the stabilizer underneath the hoop makes it much easier
What a great bit of advice! Thank you for sharing!
We use "spigot" in Indiana, too!
I think those animals are cute. You could leave the stuffing out and turn them into pajama bags.

Where can you buy the embroider buddy stuffed animals?
At the Missouri Star Quilt Co site.
@@susanhutchins5309 thank you! I should add these to my embroidery products.
Hey Connie! You can find a link to them in the description or here: bit.ly/HowtoEmbroider_yt
They are super fun!!
I wish you had an over the head camera over your sewing area. I could not see anything. 😕
Thanks for the great feedback, Beverly. We'll keep that in mind!
Hope this isn't a stupid question but does my embroidery machine need to be Wi fi enabled?
Which app can we use to connect to a brothers embroidery machine?
What embroidery language/format does it use?

Very cute
Do you have the mold to make that beautiful dinosaur?
