Glad you're feeling better. How does the earpro work with safety specs? I use prescription Oakleys, and it looks like they'd be a pain in the arse? I love the look of the setup, and have used real Peltors for shooting, but this looks like it could be uncomfortable to integrate comfortably with specs, nods, etc?
Truthfully I don't like those helmet connectors, I prefer the novritch premium helmet connectors. They are easy to mount, spring retention is strong and they are really reliable .
Of the same mind. I have the standard ones that go on the top rail, they are really ergonomic, but they take of all the rail space, so if you wanted a head torch or something for your goggles, then the rear mounting ones maybe better.
S10 mic is for their cheap Mod4 headset ($50 headset on aliexpress, bang for buck at that price), not sure why you got one... S10D (the one that comes with Mark3) is supposed to be better at picking up the voice (and isolating other noises). Also worth noting is that Earmor uses MilSpec PTT so you need it to be the REAL PTT or a military wired chinese (or earmor) PTT. I'm not sure if the mic needs to be amplified via PTT on Mark3 or not tho... Maybe that's why you got 2 mics? Since the one that comes with Mark3 has 150ohm impedance. Not sure...
i had three and they all broke. utter shit headsets. i purchased a replica FCS AMP headset and they're a milliot times better. you wasted your money unfortunately
How? Been running one for two over years with absolutely zero issues. Not even the Milpro, just the standard M32. Have to say the FCS looks good though.
@Kefuddle first one just stopped working, second one had water leaks inside during a wet weather exercise and on the third set the battery cap compartment completely broke making it unusable. Never going back to it, now I only use the FCS AMP or genuine Peltor comtac xpi
Looking forward to have your take on how this whole set has been efficient or not in-game

Mate you can get real comtacs for that kind of money.
I have two sets of XPIs that I got for ~160 each bnib. They’ve gone up a little now, but for what is, just the eu comtac IIIs, insanely good pricing.
