I find the Phage's tentacle lasers a more compelling beam shotgun than laser scissors.
Can confirm.
And I even have a stupidly-useful Phage riven that gives me a _ton_ more status chance.
Convectrix is almost always one beam because of efficient beams
This is how I play shotguns:
Boar Prime + Multishot/Damage/Toxin Riven
Throw all ya standard mods on there, primed whatevers, and a fire rate mod, maybe that amalgam nonsense
Wisp = Max strength + duration + Energized Munitions + Arcane Tempo + Arcane Acceleration
Experience the void
👁👄👁
Hek already goes up to 40 pelletts/shot with regular mods.
Add a multishot riven to that and you can run 90% elemental mods and primed charged shell while still stacking status effects like it's nobody's business.

Energized munitions Tigris, no longer a double barrel shotgun I added 6 extras
IMO best shotgun is Sobek, I run a viral and heat build, with acid shells, and the syndicate augment, it fucks over groups of enemies

Phantasma is probably one of my favorite beam shotguns atm, its very powerfull and can apply a lot of status procs due to high status chance and a lot of multishot, also the "unlimited" punchthrough adds a lot of convenience! :D

It's a rifle with a 4 bullet instant burst, that makes it similar to pellet firing shotguns, but don't get confused, it's a rifle.

ummm no one tell this man that beams are the strongest weapons in-game. (tip: don't run heat on slash weapon and unranked viral mods stack ms cuz beans have innate ms * ms mods so convx it would ms mods *2)
