- You want it, he's got it. Noddy's stable's gonna blow your mind.
Bernard Falk reports from Pensilva in Cornwall, where retired farmer Harry Orman has built a luxurious stable for his horse Noddy. If you didn't know better, you'd almost think it was a bungalow built for human habitation - what with the screw taps in the bathroom and the stainless steel sink in the... fodder house - but Farmer Orman assures us that is most definitely not the case.

Love these eccentric characters who don't seem to exist any more.😁
Have you….. been on the internet?
I can assure you there are still PLENTY of cornishmen and women who are exactly like this 😂 Best people to talk to down here 😊
Bless his heart❣ Ingenious way to work around bureaucracy 😉👍
Looked at google maps. Theres a house on higher street. Called the stable 😂 the outside landscape has similar features but house is expanded. Id say he won
this man should be 115yrs old by now..
Harry is a legend
Cornwall was in black and white until 1980, even though Devon changed over in 1974.
2:21 got a giggle
Awww, Noddy is so cute!😍 You gotta give Harry an A for creativity. Dang that bathroom is nicer than mine😂.
This is the most Alan Partridge thing I have seen outside of Alan Partridge; it's like Steve Cougan went back in time and teamed up with Dick Emery to create a real-life comedic classic!
Amazing love it! 😅
so, what happened? did he win? i hope so!
brilliant! thanks.
Yup- to heck with the government- an eye for an eye they say; 😂😂😂😂😂🇺🇸👍👍👍👍
Bureaucratic bungling, again.
The man was only looking for..
🤔Stable accommodation.
Someone built a concrete teepee to get round planning restrictions.....
If this was handed in as a script for "The Men From the Ministry" it would be rejected for being too ridiculous.
Did this guy get to live in his stable?
Horses are herd animals and are not happy alone. They like to stand touching each other, side by side, head to tail. This is cruelty to a horse. Noddy's owner doesn't even understand his own horse.
Noddy didn't really live in the 'stable'. 😊
