I just want to say that the key is to not stop taking these supplements. I used tall of the supplements (inositol, omega 3) for a year, lost 20 pounds and then stopped it for about a year and gained all the 20 pounds back. Now I have restarted taking them again and its taking time to work. Since PCOS is a lifestyle disease, the key is to understand that these supplements probably need to be taken for your entire life.

PCOS is not “a lifestyle disease” there is a large genetic component and it needs more scientific study to understand better long term treatments.

I'm so glad I found your video. I'm currently on my day 2, taking this vitamin and still learning a lot about it. However, I am so proud to tell that it was just last night that I fell asleep around 10:30 pm!!! The last time I remembered sleeping that time was around 11 years ago. I will definitely put your words in mind, eating before taking inositol and NEVER skip!
    Thank you❤

My stomach problems started with Metformin in 2015. Sporadic, upper GI problems that could get serious IF I didn't eat something fatty right after taking it. Of course, I also take R-Lipoic Acid, which can cause exactly the same problems, and did, under the same circumstance.
But since I started a regime of Neurotropic B vitamins that FINALLY were successful in combating my neuropathy pain after these last 25 years of suffering, and Metformin can-hinder the absorption of B6 and B12 into the nerve cells, I wanted something that work for my diabetes Type 2, but didn't get in the way of B6 and B12, since the pain has decreased by about 90%. So I tried Berberine. No matter how little I took it, I got upper GI bloating and pain an hour after eating, that moved to lower GI with cramps and ... needing to evacuate my bowls 6-8 times a day - not diarrhoea, but close. Then I stumbled onto the same Inositol combo you're taking and almost all stomach symptoms have disappeared. Blood sugars are at the sam levels as with Metformin, which i stopped when I started Inositol. My GP is very curious how this will affect my A1C after 3 months, as well ask my LDLs and triglycerides, since the literatures has shown that it should, and it would be great to get off the statins, if possible. And I feel, I have more energy now since starting it.
BTW - i take it immediately before every meal and before going to bed. So I take 4 x 2gr.
My routine for my Diabetes Type 2 and neuropathy pain:
    ◦ R-Lipoic Acid 300 (240) mg - 1-1-1-1
    ◦ Acetyl-L-Carnitine 750 mg - 1-1-1-0
    ◦ N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 1000 mg - 0-1-0-1
    ◦ Omega 3 fishoil 1000 mg - 1-0-1-0
    ◦ Magnesium 100 mg - 1-1-1-1
    ◦ L-Citrullin 1200 mg - 1-0-0-0
    ◦ B1 Benfotiamine 150 mg - 1-1-1-1
    ◦ B6 Pyridoxal-5'-Phosphate (P5P) 40mg - 1-0-0-1
    ◦ B7 Biotin 5 mg - 0-0-1-0
    ◦ (B8) Myo-/D-Chiro-Inositol (ca 40:1) 2000mg - 1-1-1-1
    ◦ B9 Folic acid - (6S)-5-Methyltetrahydrofolat - 1.7 mg - 1-1-1-0
    ◦ B12 Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg - 1-1-1-0

I started taking it today. I don’t have pcos but I suffer from extremely painful cramps and bad clots and I get migraines with aura every time I start my period and every time I ovulate. I also have facial hair and of course I am over weight. I am grateful that I have regular periods and have been quite fertile in my life (I have 5 children) but the migraines are extremely debilitating. I am really hoping this stuff helps

It isn’t helping with weight loss but as I started to change my nutrition and exercise I noticed the weight coming off normally and not all at once or none at all. After about a month the migraines are still there but definitely better and more tolerable! My mood seems much better too and I am noticing that my chin hair is starting to fade. It’s been just over a month now so I’m excited to see how I feel in the future

I'm going through this rn. I took "regulate" which is a brand of myo and dchiro for 3 days and got my period. So I stopped it after that. Then my period for july never came. So I started it back up and I literally had a 47 day cycle cuz I stopped it for like 10 days. I also started vitamin d3, folic acid, coq10, omega 3 ANDD the myo inositol and d chiro been taking them all everyday and I'm like waiting to ovulate using opks but I haven't got a positive one yet I'm on cycle day 16 now. Should I stop the other vitamins and just to the myo and d chiro alone? Idk

Hello!! I’m not a doctor so it’s hard to say but because all of the vitamins that you listed are said to be great for pcos, I would continue taking them. Also, it’s wild how not taking the inositol for a few days could set your period back so much 😭. Good luck !!

      @anneliahyacinth1  Рік тому +3

Hello! 😁 I definitely experienced hair loss and I am seeing slow progress/improvement. It’s hard to say if the Inositol alone is what is helping me to see improvements because my doctor also prescribed the DIM supplement for me to take in conjunction with the Inositol. DIM is supposed to help with everything you listed. However it is said that inositol may also help with all of those things as well. The improvements I’m seeing could be a result of both supplements.
