    My Wr125x struggles with 70mph on roads so it's interesting to see that comparison ! Bet the torque is the cherry on top there for sure with yours 👌
    Been looking at picking one up after seeing how much you love yours. Be safe.

      @@vegasromaniac on that terrain at that kind of speed, bit hairy for most I'm sure.
      Did laugh at the first gear speed complaints having had a smaller sports bike that maxed 15kph in first haha

    Quick question Vegas. These numbers really come in into play in supermoto form because I'm constantly cycling through all the gears so my question is on the WR450f supermoto when it's screaming at 25MPH (FMF) in first gear am I doing any damage❓

    • @toganlompkins8886
      @toganlompkins8886 3 роки тому +1

      You may damage your engine over time due to the excessive revving (it will get hot), and the more you rev it while riding your fuel mileage will go down.

    • @vegasromaniac
      @vegasromaniac  3 роки тому +2

      Yes , keeping the motor at high revs brings fatigue in the piston material crank material and valves can float ...

    Do you find the stock gearing a bit tall for hill climbs/technical stuff? I’ve had to change sprockets on all the bikes I’ve had, but maybe I’m just a slow rider!

    Jest picked up a used 2017 Yz 250fx with about 50 hours. Is there anything that you recommend I do to it , or look at anything that might need attention. And besides basic maintenance is there anything that I would haft to worry about?

      @@vegasromaniac - If thats accurate then its impressive for sure because there are plenty other bikes of similar setup that are incapable of hitting top speeds over 85-90 simply because of the lack of traction or engine power to shove through the lack of aerodynamics.
      I had a 60+hp enduro that wouldnt do more than 90mph on the dirt just because there wasnt enough HP to spin the tire fast enough in the loose dirt. Physics always rules...
