Don't forget to 'build in place'. Aside from using 3x more fabric then necessary, this version must weigh a ton.

Hello Mr. Lewis I liked your video, however I think it was not the best use of all that shade cloth. I will be doing this with a few tweets. First I would put the pallet in its identified location as after it would be to heavy to move, secondly I would recycle cardboard under neat the pallets which will also breakdown while not allowing any weeds to grow, thirdly I would have also recycled old crates or blocks around the perimeter of the pallets for companion planting and finally if you wanted to grow carrots or parsnips you could place two pallets on top of each other for depth and you would also have straight rows. I learned a lot from you and thank you.

Can anyone identify the brick in the background? Is it painted or stained or textured? Id like my brick looking like that.

      It drains through the fabric.

You would want it because their are no weeds. and Less water wasted.

    Dear Sir,
No disrespect but you wasted a lot of material when you could have chosen a thicker backing and just used the material on the bottom that you had so there is good drainage I do not agree with how you did this it might work for you but that was a whole lot of ways that was unnecessary you need to think more of the environment

You can tell even in the one they display that there are moisture issues (duh)... I laugh at your watermelon and pine for my 13 minutes back.

Expensive project using a cheap pallet. Watermelon is not going to grow and even herbs are not going to proliferate.

Wrong on so many things, but to start with you teach low income communities to waste a lot of money, if you have access to free pallets, a project like this should be free apart from some nails or screws, and some grow medium.
