@VK23098 sure you can. It works with normal 9v battery as well. You can still try with transistors as suggested by your sir 🙂

An electric bell is a device that converts electrical energy into kinetic energy and then into sound energy. In this project the battery provides electrical energy to the motor , the motor starts rotating and also the thread tied in the motor gets rotated in a circular path , the Bolt also rotates according to the thread when the thread hits the steel plate the kinetic energy is converted to sound energy .Thus our project is working like this
