@@Adamdavidk1 Bummer. I have been looking on and off for years. I had taped it when it was aired but then I was burglarized back in the 80's and the tape was taken. I had called them to get a copy but I was broke and couldn't afford the $300.00 they wanted for it and when I could afford it, they were't making them available any longer. :(
My story...I lived in Newport Beach at the time and my girlfriend invited me to go. She had been several times and had never been picked but a lot of her friends had. She picked me up and I looked all cute in a baby blue cotton outfit that I carefully chose just in case I was on TV. We stopped at a convenience store and I decided to get a V8 Never had one before in my life but that day seemed like a good day to have one.
Well, I opened it, and bamb, it was all over my cute outfit. So we had to go back home for me to change and I chose a florescent orange big sweater and black pants because they were popular back then, and off to the studio we went.
There was a busload of people that we knew were coming so we weren't sure if we were going to get there in time but we did and ended up at the end of the line. They went through each person and interviewed them. I was reading a book while we were waiting and when it was my turn, I got all animated and happy as I was answering their questions
We sat on the far left of the audience, I was up against the wall of curtains. I really didn't think I would get called up so I started painting my nails and all of a sudden my friends jumps up screaming and it hits me that my name was just called. It was so awesome! I ran down and took my place.
I won whatever the bid was to get up on stage and I got to play the shell game. My hands were on the table and Bob shook the shells back and forth so I could feel the ball hitting the sides of the shell so I immediately knew what shell it was under. I won three chips so I placed the first one on the shell that I knew the ball was under and I won. It was a game room and I was 21 and was still moving all over the state trying to figure out where I wanted to live so I had no use for any of the items. I won a pool table, a solo flex exercise set, a giant popcorn machine, and a pinball machine. I spun 65 on the wheel and someone spun higher so I didn't get up to the showcase. It was so amazing and I still have the name tag. I just really wish I could find the recording so my kids and grand kids could see it, they would get such a kick out of that.

@@Adamdavidk1 I just realized that we were in the studio on that day and it looks like a lot of the videos from that year have not been found. It would be between episodes 5742-5785. If I find any photos I will send them to you.
