@@willSolos I think you Seriously underestimate how easy it is. It's pretty much a guaranteed win. The size and weight of an opponent doesn't even matter in this game.
@@willSolos It is way to easy for a small dinosaur to harass a bigger opponent. Well that's expected when everything in the roster has the worst movement.
@@willSolos Yes and the Buffalo is still very hard to kill even for a pride of lion's. In pot its not hard to kill people. You could just have 2 dromeosaures and bam garunteed win against an allo. One is already hard enough. Granted both the deino and allo have terrible movement. Buts it's super easy to harras the bigger dood that moves like a truck. Srry for the long comments.
Ngl.... I used to be more of an Isle supremist... Atm I cant really support the way the isle has been being handled for the past yr or so, and I dont know if Ill ever play it again. Pot is often compared TI, but I normally dont think of Pot as really even super similar.... But, slowly... Path has implemented many of the good things the isle had, and some of its own nice things, and its gradually coming together in ways I wouldnt have expected in large part to balance and vision. Path HAS combat, but its not really the focus of path. On the other hand, TI had what I would have described as better combat, although it had lots of bugs and detection issues and such(not to mention the endless chronic hacking) However because of vision and balance, Path has become both more healthy, fun, and realistic, whereas for contrast, TI has become very dice roll insta kill press button 0-100... It has serious serious serious problems both with hackers, and hitboxes, desync, and hit detection issues... But its vision is the thing that, even if they fixed all of that... Deino, Stego pwr, pounce to pin, herrera.... Everything is getting these one hit kill moves, and with deino it made more sense. It was well balanced. But because of the power of a stego, nothing can even afford to stand near them, not even other herbis(and most stuff is like 1 shot to the head for 85% of their growth) the herra one shot on everything up to a FG raptor or dilo.... Pounce to pin is better than it was balance wise, but how fun is that, rmb and just bam, they cant get up, and thats it. Path had issues being clunkier, which it still is, but theyve cleaned up a surprising amount. It also had issues with damage sponge combat(people just sit there whacking each other for ages and noone dies) but its also cleaned that up, ALTHOUGH! its also proven to be the wiser and more realistic side to err on as far as how it affects risk/reward choices and player interactions. The chances of just catching someone by surprise and one shotting them before they can respond is much lower, and makes the sweatiest people less inclined to just try to kill everything on sight. You still do get a big advantage in a fight though if you use stealth/ambush successfully All in all, Path has really been slowly but consistently surprising me in good ways. I hate to say it, but unless TI starts heading in a less combat hyperfixated way, which it could take some notes from Path on, I might never play it again. Conversely if Path continues to improve, it might get to a point where I really get into it Great videos btw :)
Great comment. When I first POT I wasn't really into it, dinos felt a little slow and I don't know how to call it, something felt wrong so I wasn't really playing it. Quests are fine, I guess they went with more bird-like approach with dinos collecting things and I am ok with it, I like those quests. In comparison, TI was great for me until recently, I can barely run it on my computer even though I was just fine with it 3 months ago, graphic is grainy and blurry no matter what, hackers are horrible, aaand it is mostly people killing everyone on sight. It started to be deathmatch rather than realistic survival. And almost nobody is nesting :/ Now I am slightly addicted to POT, after they added nesting, I can't stop building and decorating nests in PVE servers, and if I want to fight I can always go to deathmatch or semi realism servers. It adds more options to everything, and generally has no hacker issue. And I can run it on epic graphic setting without even a slightest problem. Well I am not saying I will never play The isle again, I will, but when growing your dino is barely possible it is no longer fun :/ I am here for semi realism, yes, but not for detahmatch kos-ing players :
@@Nika44 if the quest feel boring don’t worry they gonna change it and make it more fun after for example in the quest overhaul update every completion of quest you will get coin, growth and also special rewards such as new animation emotes and also skins and decoration for your nests and home ave which is really cool

Although far from perfect. Then i love the features of Beast of bermuda like snake, climbing, and burrowing is amazing. Wish isle incorporated snake, burrowing.
I really like this game it’s more fun and has a lot of customization such as you yourself can make your own server can be either semi-realism or pvp or whatever you want that’s what I like about it. Btw excellent video
Bro u should of played Arazoa realism if u really wanna play like really realistic I would say that’s the best option cause it looked like u was in a random community server since I saw the dragon at 3:41 but definitely try Arazoa out if ur going to do another realism.
Arazoa isn't that realistic, there are some mods there that don't make any sense and herbivores are almost never hunted, especially Iggy nowadays, basically because they are invincible. I just saw yesterday a adol Iggy leave an adult Achillo with death scars with just one attack. Not to mention that many things are far from realistic, like huge crocodiles like Deinos living in the Hot Spring pools. As the server itself says, it is SEMI-REALISM, basically a simple server with rules. True realism is in servers like PTR or WWD.
I'd highly recommend it. If you buy the full game, which is the only available option on anythig but mobile, you automatically get all the dinosaurs, including the ones that'll release in the future
@@Justadude1243 You will unluck every dino but can unlock them through in-game coins ( no real money). I am talking about the 30$ one. If you buy the more expensive one, $50, I think you will unlock every dinosaur
Base game is the normal founders pack, idk why everyone is saying it unlocks all dino's, the playables are always all unlocked permanently. The deluxe edition adds the "Backer" skins to the base-game playables, look them up if you like the way they look, + it's bonus support to the game devs. Basically get the founders pack if you don't care for the skins, and get the deluxe if you do or just want to support the devs. Never anything about the dino playables being locked. Edit: forgot to add this, the founders pack gives you a bunch of coins to purchase skin bundles or individual skins. The vast majority of the skins in-game are free and just need to be unlocked with marks, which are earned per playable you make, per server they're saved to. The coins (with the trike on the face, and it's orange) are real-world currency for the special skins in the main menu. Buying the All Backer bundle in-game, if not through the deluxe edition, is a little over 20 USD. I "believe" the deluxe edition gives you more coins to buy up the rest of the special skins in the main menu, but regardless of which edition you get the game will give you Alderon tokens to buy a bunch of them. Referring a friend also grants benefits & extra special skins for certain playables, so check out that tab as well.

Edit: I love the cinematic shots in this video! And the music is great! ❤
Right now my only gripe is that medium sized dinosaurs got the short end of the stick. They get killed way to easily by packs.
