He shouldnt sell any workout gear when none of his sons joints can stay intact
🤣
Lol….yup! He should be selling crutches, braces, anything related to recovering from injuries…😂
The aau circuit and playing on concrete fkered up there joints facts
😂😂😂😂😂😂

That stuff is as big a scam as his shoes where. $1850 for that stuff is a ripoff. You can get a Power Tower for less than $200 that does all that.
I understand where you're coming from, but in the States, you cannot reproduce all three workout stations for less than $1000
@@_JamesBrowna power tower does do all 3 of those exercises and I just looked at Academy’s website and they have one for 120, in the US. If you pay 1000, you were robbed.
@@_JamesBrownyes you can. It’s called a power tower. Has a pull up bar and dip station, and some also has push-up handles. I got mine for about $100. You can also buy some parallel bars for cheap as well.
@@_JamesBrownIf I'm not mistaken, free is less than $1000.
@@_JamesBrown$1000 (and $2850) is a bit high, but a flimsy retail $200 power tower is a bit too shitty.
Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama knows more about anatomy than Lavar Ball.
I'd listen to Dr. Nick Riviera more than I would from "Dr. Ball".
He raised elite athletes and quality men.
@@daundisputedtake7238LiAngelo is not elite, Lonzo is broken at least partly because of his dads garbage shoes, and LaMelo is a piece of shit. Wrong on all counts, kid.

“Lavar Ball, you have a serious case of bullshititis!”😂
Imagine swinging your legs around like that and calling it pullups 😂😂
I was wondering the same thing lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I know, he barley was able to pull himself up without the leg kicking. Should've got a better model.
Could be worse. Have you seen the crossfit pull-up?
@@paige_judah5538Gelo chin is above the bar so your statement is a boldface lie. Lavar has coached and trained 3 of his son to become professions and 2 of them are still in the NBA til this day.
@@LionsandtruthLonzo is basically out of the league
Dude just can’t help trying to rip people off
Because he made one mis statement he’s a ripoff. GTFOH
This Doc has misspoke many times.
😂😂😂😂
Love the debunking video! Would love to see more of these 👍🏼
This phony doctor debunked absolutely. Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA.
Hi Brian, could u possibly talk about carlos correas full rupture of his plantar fascia and how it could actual help relieve his pain. The team claims he will be back playing within the next 2 weeks for the playoffs. But a tear seems usually like a really bad thing
Holy shit, hearing growth plates was a total throwback to being a kid and breaking bones hahaha. I know your focus is more so on contemporary vids/events (which is what I’d prefer honestly), I def would love to watch a growth plate vid from you
Those pull-ups were horrible form. Ignoring the hand placement, all that kicking he's doing defeats the purpose
What's wrong with the hand placement?
too close together. and i think they're palms up instead of palms down. palms up would be a chin up, while palms down is a true pull up@@burnerbill7372
chin-ups*
Western weight lifting is very against momentum; but the majority of movements in life are not just strict movements, almost none are. I think there’s something to be said about a lack of injury prevention with that ideology of lifting. The form honestly isn’t that terrible lol; if it’s part of a circuit it could actually be pretty beneficial at topping off certain muscle groups.
Hes doing chinups bro theres nothing wrong with his hand placement. U can go wide, neutral, or narrow grip depending on what you trying to work. But yeah hes kipping and using momentum to pull his self up
Good little vid. I watched that while I drank my morning coffee before shooting out the door for work. Perfect length! Good work.
I do think he meant calisthenics rather than isometrics. And, there was quite a bit of sway in that pull up bar.
Both are in the same family both use body weight. This phony doctor is a clown
As an exercise, sport, and movement science major that isometric line made me laugh.
I thought I misunderstood what it was for a second. He shouldn't make videos like this if he is soooo wrong.
Isometric n calisthenics both use body weight so there’s nothing wrong with what Lavar said. This phony doctor debunked absolutely. Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA, this phony doctor has coached n trained who to the league?????
He most likely meant calisthenics. They both end the same way.
100%
yea but it doesnt matter what he "most likely meant"
@@TheScotian82 It does if you’re not an idiot.
But anyone who knows anything about anything, knows calisthenics and isometrics are completely different. Just like knowing the difference between there, their, and they're.
@@Esteb86both are about using your own body weight so they are actually one in the same. Everybody with a brain knows that. Lavar is 100% correct
LaVar Ball has always been a lying scammer. Another awesome vid, Doc.
"Lavar Ball Talking Nonsense". Standard day at the office
Rafael Fiziev just had a weird injury hope we can get an analysis of that
I didn’t have a Lavar Ball diss video on my bingo card
$1850? There are a ton of exercises that do not require equipments.
Mr Ball needed his "pull-up" bar higher, old dude isn't doing the full motion of the chin-up (hand positioning is like a curl).
the growth plate myth is something that anyone who's taken anatomy knows is false. At least within the last ~20 yrs lol. In college and my med school, that myth still continued. Crazy how things can do that.
Also I feel like most workout-forward people SHOULD know what an isometric workout is vs isotonic. LaVar Ball seems to be hopping on what sells on advertising more than what actually works.
No trainer or coach with a brain trains children with weights.
Thank you for debunking the whole “stunt your growth” myth…when I was in the military these short stalky Marines would develop muscles…one told me he stunted his growth in high school
This phony doctor debunked absolutely nothing, he proved absolutely nothing through science through experiment through actually study. Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are in the NBA right now. Lavar clearly has the answers
No no my cousin the mathmetist and my aunt the scientician both purchased his products and adore them! Sounds like theyve moved into their new, ocean front property in Arizona and are loving every minute of it
Lavar definitely got "isometric" from the steamed hams scene
Waiting for the Fiziev knee injury from tonight’s UFC fight
Lol same here
Same here
I don't want to take ANY kind of lessons from Lavar
He also promoted behind the head presses, you know, the exercise infamous for causing massive injuries
Its risky if you lack shoulder mobility or perform at a heavier weight than you can safely control…..just like every other exercise
It’s just as risky as any other movement, just walking around could be physically risky for some. This phony doctor debunked absolutely. Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA. What have u or this phony doctor done?
I think he meant to say calisthenics
Anyone who has a remote idea of fitness would laugh at this too. Those damn pull ups had terrible form as well. It’s becoming kinda embarrassing. The unfortunate part is, Lavar is a good marketer and parent Im sure, and he also put his kids in the position to succeed. But, it’s gotta be somewhat embarrassing at some point to have to cosign some of the things he says or does.
Yea 😂I was like look at that kippin froggy nonsense he was doing lol
Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA. Who have you trained n coached to become professional???
Pretty sure he meant to say plyometrics, which I believe is also technically incorrect.
LaVar Ball just replied. Can you believe he told you to stay in your lane? That's crazy.
It also funny how he's comparing a bench press to a pull up when they don't even involve the same muscles. One is a pushing movement and the other is pulling lol
This episode should be titled "Stay in yo lane."
Respect the hustle
"please do not listen to Lavar ball," is the most valuable sentence in this video.
Cant take anyone serious, who takes that man serious.
The Ball family isn’t right about anything really. 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you so much for debunking this clown doc. This is a horrible advertisement for training equipment, it's just ridiculous.
Great video as always.
Please do a video on Rafael Fizevs injury last night!
Most local parks have this same shit, lavar a goofy
At least it’s free content
LaVar Ball is the Detroit Urban Survival Training of sports
When is he not talking nonsense? 😂
The title is gold lol
This equipment is at my local elementary
Literally 2/3 sons have been out with injuries and then he’s using LiAngelo, who hasn’t even really smelled the league doing this. So that alone can prove this doesn’t work
Please do a video on Rafael fiziev (the ufc fighters) foot injury. He broke his foot on a teep kick to the elbow. Probably a jones fracture. I would love a breakdown man. Thought you would’ve already put one up
It was an acl there on the supporting leg. His body was further away than his leg, and the pivot created torque, which cause the acl to snap
Why are his kids still listening to him about working out at all
$1850?!?!?! Good grief!
Easiest diss ever
Never ever trust whatever comes out of Lavar Ball.
Can you do a video on rafael fiviez knee injury after throwing a front kick last night
Did you guys know Lavar Ball can take Michael Jordan 1v1? He said so himself
Please make a growth plates video
Doc, we had a visitor to Hawaii that was striken with Surfer's myelopathy. What is it and what is his prognosis?
We need a video on Antoine Dupont's facial fracture? Will he be able to still play in this world cup at some point?
The name “Big Baller” needs to die in his mind. It’s already dead in ours
Thanks for the video.
I thought one of you said something about squats, and I thought that the message was that squats were not a form of body-weight exercise. If someone puts huge amounts of weight on a bar and does squats, I realize that they are not a body-weight exercise. On the other hand, someone doing unweighted squats would seem to me to be doing a body-weight exercise. I realize that serious athletes who are trying to maximize their performance in some sport are not going to do body-weight squats. For those of us who just want to maintain bone density and muscle tone in the legs for day-to-day functioning, I don't see anything wrong with unweighted squats. Am I wrong? For those of us who are doing unweighted or lightly-weighted squats, isn't that a form of body-weight exercise?
I've never been good at certain exercises and eventually stopped doing them out of frustration. My health has failed and taken much of my life with it. The one advantage of my situation is that it has expanded the number of areas of life that fall into the "don't give a damn" category. Looking around, I've learned some things that I had never realized when I was trying to do things to match what many experts were saying. I've never been able to do pull-ups, but I've heard from some physical therapists that just hanging on a pull-up bar has some benefit. I'll never reach the sixty-second hangs that many are recommending. However, I see benefit in going from two-second hangs to five-second hangs. I'll never do fifty pushups in a day, but I think I've had some benefit from doing fifteen or twenty inclined pushups every day instead of doing the zero standard pushups that I found too frustrating to try. I don't know that exercise could have prevented my health from failing as it has, but I wish I'd developed this "don't give a damn" attitude decades ago. If I'd spent the past forty or fifty years hanging from a bar for a little bit every day, I'd have been stronger and healthier through the shoulders and spine. Maybe I'd never have been able to do twenty pull-ups, but being stronger and having a healthier spine would have been good for me. Doing fifteen or twenty inclined pushups a day for the past forty or fifty years would have given me a stronger body than doing zero regular pushups. I wish I hadn't listened to the athletes and exercise "gurus" who dismissed those of us who couldn't do exactly what they said we needed to aspire to do.
I wonder if he got the terminology confused between isometric and calisthenics
Grifters gonna grift...
To me the most concerning thing in this video is the horrible form of Liangelo doing these pullups. I'd expect proper form from a professional athlete.
I seen his physique in a WWE wrestling ring… I think I’ll take my chances not listening to him
Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA. But u listening to this random scrawny feeble quack that has done nothing in life 😂😂😂
The pull-ups were terrible kicking the legs.
How you gonna goto the site expecting fitness equipment when it's a product for exterior design.. The guy can build you outside fitness equipment because he specializes in exterior design.. Why would you go on the website expecting to see nothing but fitness?
That pull up form. Lord.
pencil neck geeks talking about pull up form ..hahahaha.. only idiots criticize pull up form
Thank for calling out these clowns. Also, debunking the stunt growth bs.
I think he meant isolation lol, like this is a good exercise to target a specific muscle. Think most people are smart enough not to look to LaVar for fitness advice.
Isometrics, calisthenics are one and the same as it’s all about body weight. This phony doctor debunked absolutely. Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA. His sons wasn’t getting hurt to they starting all that Olympic style foolishness which is the main reason this kids are getting hurt. What Lavar talking about strengthens tendons, ligaments, fascia, muscle, the man is right
Their business partner Allen who they lied on said lavar was a bum before he got involved knew nothing about business 😅
He probably meant calisthenics
Those pullups are ridiculous.
i like videos in this style

I hope he meant *plyometrics
Saludos desde México, muy buena Kalan, creo que merece más atención junto con Galloway
👍
Bro's not even doing pull-ups, those are chin-ups
The idea is isometric, calisthenics movement which is being able to control body weight.
HI, EVERYBODY !
HI, DR. BALL !

LaVar Ball is such a scammer
Just when i was about to forgot about him haha
Are you sure? I mean… he’s LaVar Ball
Does the doc workput and train ?
could a tibial tubercle avulsion mess up growth plate?
Watching the poor form on those pull-ups, there is probably a USMC Gunnery Sergeant out there losing his mind right now.
Isometric, calisthenics focuses on body weight n that’s what Gelo is doing. Only a fool would speak about something so trivial as so called “form” when all that matters is controlling your own body weight. This phony doctor debunked absolutely. Lavar has coached n trained 3 of his sons to become professional, 2 of which are currently in the NBA. What have u done????
Dude is a MASSIVE GRIFTER
Those are horrible quality, lazy pullups!
Everyone talks bad about LaVar but 2 of his sons play professional basketball and another got pretty dame close. I’d say he’s a pretty good dad and had decent judgment.
I agree, but I don’t think people are necessarily talking bad about how he’s raising his kids. He’s done an amazing job at that. They more so talk down on his stints he does. Such as speaking on where his son should be traded and or drafted. Or like selling BBB shoes and charging crazy prices, then now he’s making overpriced workout equipment. And speaking nonsense about it as Brian said.
Its called privilege in action.
I love how people always brush over the fact that these sons of athletes have a path set on cruise control and all they need to do is stay on the road.
Especially if you 'qualify' as a 'minority'
Wow I didn’t know he was still selling his snake oil
I mean he did produce 3 NBA players, he possibly knows a little about what he’s talking about.
LiAngelo is doing chin-ups and he is cheating and he should of said Calisthenics. Which are great exercises when done correctly. Mr. Ball should refer all his kids to ATG (knees over toes guy) on UA-cam for their workouts. I have been doing their workout and my knees feel great. Great for ankles too. His sons seem to have weak ankles and knees.🍗
Goata n stopping those pro trainers from doing Olympic style lifting with these athletes…isometric n calisthenics are both one and the same as both are about controlling body weight.
