This solution falls apart at 7:40 into the video. Some desktop project files like mine do not meet the simplicity requirements to upload into project online. Mine for instance has too many dependencies and fails to upload to project online.
This is a great video. One thing I’m struggling with is finding the custom text columns from Project in PowerBI. I’ve searched all the available tables -and I can’t find them! Have you got any ideas which table they’re in?
Would it be possible to use this new dashboard for Project for the Web, but replace the data source to look for the traditional PWA (Project Online)? The old dashboard doesn't look as great as the new one made for Project for the Web

Its too complex in terms of process/settings/access controls. I did everything as shown but somehow powerbi doesn't connect me to data source. It always throws me a page citing get power bi pro.
