Why did you have to start crying. You brought me to tears. I lost my mom in 2014 and miss her so much. And she was a single parent who raised 8 of us six boys and two girls.
mamas are the 1st queen we meet in life and i can see your are such a queen. the words youshared are beautiful , your kids are blessed to be raised by you.
This song just makes me realize how much I love my mom and at the same time makes me upset with myself for not always showing her how much I love her and appreciate her unconditional love. Makes me want to be a better son to show her how much she means, even if I don’t always show it. I’m gonna go call me mom now
I can't listen and not cry my mom passed 3/1/17 and life has never been the same since. We only get one mom and when she's gone I wish she was still here
I'm there with ya Jai. I'm a huge Mama's girl. My mom is my best friend. I go to her for everything. She is my confidante, my silly person, etc. This song has always made me cry.
This hurts. So bad. My mom passed in 2022. Nothing and I mean NOTHING, will ever fill this void. Even as an adult I felt protected. Always. Same with my father (he passed in 2003). It's crazy because when my daughter heard this for the first time....the grip she had on my....crying....startled me. It's the same way I felt about my mother. It wasn't long after my mom died so I think it hit harder because of that.
This song and movie came out right as my grandmother was passing away. It describes her perfectly. She was the center of our family and seemed superhuman in her ability to fix anything. Every time I hear this song (even today), it draws tears. Props to all mothers everywhere. Nothing but love for ya.
I lost my mom 21 yrs ago and it feels like it was today, I can never get through this song without getting emotional, make sure to let the people you love that you love them
I lost my mom to a stroke in 1993. She went right into a coma and never pulled out from it. She was an amazing mother. And I mean AMAZING. She was like the love of Christ personified. The hardest and most heartbreaking thing was taking the elevator to the 4th floor ICU, heading to her bedside and sliding the privacy curtain back to see that she was gone, but for the machines…. I’ve never been so wreaked and heartbroken in my entire life, before, or since. So people, If you have your Mama, don’t take her for granted. Take time to make the time, before time is all you have in wait. God bless and great reaction. I was losing it right there along with you and Im a grown man.
This song is always hard for me to listen to because no matter how much my mother has been there for me and how much she's done for me, I feel as though I could have been better to her. No one has been there for me like she has. She's done so much for me and it's painful to look back and realize how bad and ungrateful I used to be.
I lost my mom 2 years ago this August and I wish I played this for her while she was here. I play this song on repeat and mourn her absence in my life. I miss my mama so much. The world is not the same
My Mother raised me to be a good man and some day i want to show her this song to say thank you! but she doesnt understand english... maybe i try to translate it to german and sing it to her! You seem to be pure tho! I wish you all the best! Thank you for this pure and real reaction! It was made day!

This was our song for the mother-son dance at my wedding. Your reaction to this was absolutely beautiful... had me all emotional over here. Hearing about your relationships with your mom and your kids took it to a whole other level. You obviously did a fine job with your kids, and as a parent myself, I know it wasn't easy. I salute you, sis... respect.

@@SimplyJai571 my girls are 19 and 11, and they're my EVERYTHING!! I know you know exactly what I mean. Being a Mom is the greatest, most rewarding, sometimes trying, and so many other things. I relate to you and the emotions you feel while doing some of these reactions. Thank you for doing what you do!! ❤😊
Jai, I have been a subscriber to you and half's channel for a while now but didn't know you had your own. I just found this channel this morning through this song. This song hits so hard for me. I'm 43 and my mom passed just 12 days shy of my 16th birthday back in 1995. This song was released 2 years later in 97 and I ran this song into the ground back then. Much like you and your mom, my mom was a single mother of 10. She did all she could for us and sadly succumbed to Cancer at 48 years old in January of 95. Fast forward to 2021 and my sister, a single mother of 1 passed away of Cancer at age 47 in January. My nephew like me when I was his age was devastated. I sent him this song and he absolutely loves it like I do. This is one of those timeless songs that will never get old. Boyz II Men are legends. Keep up the amazing work on your vids. ❤ Jack

You’re right Pero. I am going to show love to the wonderful father’s as well. I think my daddy issues get in the way of me showing appreciation for the AMAZING father’s out here. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
You had me crying sooo much with you. My mother passed when I was 10 (I'm 41 now), and when she passed I played "it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday" on repeat without fully understanding that I was never gonna see my mother again. My father was already out of my life by the time I was 6. So both of my parents were gone. Being so young I didnt quite understand what was happening and what this would impact my life in the long run. So when I hear songs like this... it takes me to that place. I'm glad I got to shed a tear with you. Everyone cherish your mother if they are still around. You never know. ♥️
This song has made me cry 100 times. Seeing you cry only added to that. Beautiful lady with a soft heart.
