This guy is literally all that every band needs.. In songs like this, he isn't only singing, he's telling a story. Oustanding performance, just outstanding.
My husband and I have been going to see TSO every year (except for 2020, no tour)for about 15 years. Sometimes we are lucky enough to see them twice in a season. Incredible performances.
Russ is a class act and role model. Met him a few months ago after a Symphony X show I took my 12 year old niece to. She got to meet the whole band including Russ, he was very cool and welcoming. Also really great to talk to him! Keep going strong man! We need your voice in our lives!!

If you ever get the chance to see this amazing group of musicians live, you must go. I am a 47 year old music geek whose life has revolved around music since my early teens. I find so much emotion in many of their compositions and have sung some at church masses. This song in particular strikes an emotion in me and I have a difficult time performing it without choking. When I saw them in 2022 and that song was performed, it felt like time was standing still and I was somewhere else. It was a magical, emotional rollercoaster that I truly wish never ended. I will never forget that experience and feel fortunate my 12 year old son who is an aspiring guitar player was there to share it with me.

You know ow what Dan Vasc would be perfect to sing with y’all don’t know if you have heard of him but he is all over utube check him out he almost has a million subscribers he has broken the internet he’s a metal singer and sings opera everything he sings turns to gold check out he s version of Amazing Grace and Angels we have heard on high
