He's a man with two names. To the Jews he was called Saul, to the Romans he was known as Paul. He thought he was the hero in this story, but he turned out to be the villain. It took him losing his sight to see for the very first time. Are you willing to open your eyes?
"Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?'"
    Acts 9:1-4

The Branham’s bro’s are some of the best story tellers I know. Love seeing how the Lord is using their gifts (and the gifts of the production crew) to bring these stories to life.

These past couple of months I have felt God pushing me to learn about the people in the Bible. I have been praying for God to lead me to the right resources to help me get a clear understanding of the stories and this story is a perfect start. This video is amazing. I really hope to see more videos soon!

Wow, wow, wow. I just finished watching this!!! SPECTACULAR !!! The depth of emotion, the words, the darkness vs light, the music, all culminate to draw you into the real struggle of a man who fiercely opposed Jesus until he met Him face to face.

"The whole time I thought I was the good guy...I thought I was doing what you (God) wanted!" Great line. How many times do well-meaning people do what they think is right in their own eyes or in the eyes of the world? Many times these same people don't even KNOW that they need to be forgiven of "sins." They don't know what sins ARE, even. As Christians, we must be patient as we help others open their hearts and eyes to the truth. I believe this is why Stephen could ask God to forgive those who persecuted him, even as he was being stoned to death. I also believe this is why Jesus asked the same of the Father, God. "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34. Jesus reminds us in so many ways that as we teach, we must do so humbly. We are ALL in need of a Savior (even those who don't yet know it or don't yet know that Jesus is the answer). Thank you for this wonderful depiction of Saul / Paul's story! Great job, Vantage crew!

@@VantageStories YES! In fact, I cannot express to you enough about how good it feels to know that my comment has encouraged this amazing project/ministry in some way. Yesterday when I initially read your kind response,I felt that going into more detail about the impact your videos have made on me.. a person who has just recently found salvation in Jesus Christ would be inappropriate but.. and i apologize in advance for leaving such a long reply, I just can't help but feel like I need to let you know just how much these videos have truly helped me in more than one way.. because I am sure there are other people out there who have had similar struggles with things such as learning what the bible teaches and that learning about the people in the Bible can actually help us deal with problems we face today in this day and age. I am trying to process this incredibly emotional response to learning about the Bible because up until I was recently saved, I had so much hatred for anything that involved Christianity. Naturally, the Bible invoked in me so much anger and disgust.. but I am trying to understand why that is because I had no idea what the Bible was really even about. I was baptized Catholic but in all honesty, that was just something that my family did to fit in with the community that I grew up in. In fact, there was never any teaching about the Bible, or anything related to God/Jesus at all. Instead, I was taught to study thelemic principals and how to do things like astral projection, communicate with other "entities' thru different types of divination and clairvoyant methods. Instead of learning the 10 commandments, I was taught how to properly read and decipher an ephemeris so I could read astrological natal charts by the time I was 8 years old. My childhood was a miserable, lonely and traumatic experience.. and I believed that my unhappiness came from religious indoctrination that was only forced upon society because "they' (the evil christians) didn't want people to become illuminated with the liberation of truth.. that we... Humans.. were actual Gods and to achieve or ascend to our highest state of Godhood we had to live our life by adhering to the most important law.. "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law". When I turned 8, I took part in my first blasphemy against God. (A ritual that is very important to thelemites and members of the O.T.O). Long story short, we were taught that sin was actually a good thing.. and that the more we indulged our sinful desires and took part in drugs, sexual deviancy , and making a true effort to remove any kind of emotion that wasn't animalistic in nature because empathy and compassion only make us weak.. basically that sums up the basic principles that I was taught my entire life. Looking back I now remember that something inside me knew it was wrong. My mother is still obsessed to this day with communicating with spirits through her pendulum, and I don't ever really remember seeing her happy at all. I'm sure it wouldn't surprise anyone to know that I work in the adult industry as an escort, I'm 43 and I've been doing it all my life. I have a severe problem with addiction and almost took my own life because one day I just couldn't justify living one more day in a world where there was nothing but pain and emptiness. I believe with every fiber of my being that I'm alive to type this because Jesus came into my heart. When I attempted to end my existence in this world the doctors said it was a miracle that I was able to be recessitated. But ever since that happened I feel like God was telling me that I didn't have to keep hurting like I was. There was a lady at the hospital that came in n and prayed with me and for the first time I understood that God loves me, and all the guilt that I have carried in shame on my heart could be removed all because Of the beautiful sacrifice that Jesus made so that sinners like myself could start over again by accepting him into my heart and I did. And it has really changed so much. I still struggle with so many things.. from my drug problem to figuring out how I can get out of this lifestyle where I feel degraded and just disgusting every day.. but ever since I asked Jesus to come into my heart I believe that I will eventually find my way out and I didn't have that hope before. Like I said in my initial comment, I have always struggled with severe ADHD.. and I've made several attempts at trying to read the Bible but I just have the hardest time comprehending what the Bible says
I have no trouble reading the words, but understanding what the words mean has been extremely difficult. So when I watched your video about Saul, it was the first time I really felt like I understood how Jesus was able to touch the heart of a sinner. I won't begin to tell you what happened when I watched your video about Magdalene... all I will say is it was such an incredible feeling, I started to cry (in a good way) and I got on my knees and prayed to Jesus and thanked him. So you see, I am truly honored that my comment could offer encouragement because your YT channel has done so very much for me. I even made a donation on your website to say thank you.. it wasn't very much , but because of my drug problem, it's all I had at the moment. But I am just so happy to know that I could somehow return even a little bit of something to you guys after everything your project has done for me. Again, use my comment and anything else I have said any way you like. I just know in my heart that there are others out there that are growing closer to the Lord thanks to what you do❤️

Jesus Christ our Lord could have come down from the cross, but Jesus did as God told him to do.
Jesus died for us!! To Save us from our sins. Because we were all heading for Hell, the Torchure chamber.
I love to call Jesus, our Hero. Because Nobody else could save us.. this is why we call Jesus Christ our Lord saviour master and King, & this is why we say Jesus Christ is the king of kings & Lord of Lords. Also this is why we praise Jesus Christ.
If you truly believe in Jesus Christ our Lord & truly confess our sins Jesus is just & will forgive us our sins.

Wow thanks I used to be an alter boy back when I was younger and belong to an episcopalian church, Im not even entirely sure what that (episcopalian) even means cuz it was so long ago and I kinda stopped going cuz it was sorta a family thing but after my parents divorced we stopped going cuz things got kinda complicated anyways, I have recently I been having these bizzare dreams about a character named Saul and who burrys himself in a cave and has a light blast him and he comes out a new man and it kept reoccuring and originally I thought it was just another one of my nonsensicle wacky fever dreams but a close friend of mine is visiting Isreal and he sent me a picture of the city walls of Jerusalem and idk in my mind something clicked and it made me want to research the Saul thing and it crossed me as quite interesting cuz it's a real story in the bible. And quite frankly Im not entirely sure what my stance on religion is right now but I do believe that things appear to you for a reason and the fact that this story resonates with me somehow kinda makes me want to start my venture back into christianity but I have so many questions and don't even know where to begin. Also i've been reading a little from my bible at night and there are alot fo storys I have questions about but church isn't a raise your hand type of gathering so idk where to go to help me understand all this but thanks for the video :)

Shaul was a wealthy influential Jewish Pharisee, whose father was also the same in prominence. While Shaul did watch and even promote the destruction of all Messianic Jews (of whom ALL 12 Apostles were Jews). He himself, never murdered by his own hands anyone. Please get this history corrected in calling him a 'murderer'. Next, due to him having held the citizenship of Rome, he had favor with Roman leaders in his pursuit of persecuting any Messianic believers. After he claims he was struck blind (probably so) by Yeshua on the road to Damascus, then became a believer in Yeshua as the Messiah. Due to him needing to continue to be accepted within the Greco-Roman nations, he chose to use the Greco-Roman name of Paul instead of his very Jewish name of Shaul. It wouldn't matter to the Jewish nations, because they KNEW clearly who he was. The Apostles never in all accepted him, nor his conflagrant teachings that veered away from Yeshua's teachings. Shaul was the inventor of what we today call Christians. A derogatory term that began in the Second century. Remember Yeshua died in the first century. Shaul went about gaining money from wealthy converts Jews and Gentiles to take back to Jerusalem with him to try to 'bribe' Yeshua's brother Bishop James (which failed) proving he still kept the Laws of ADONAI (meaning the 10 Commandments) not necessarily the Mosaic Laws of ceremonies and festival and annual Shabbats. But Shaul did keep the Laws (both types) as did ALL Apostles. Never did Yeshua nor the 12 Apostles ever teach anyone to not obey the 10 Commandments, nor the festivals. The Passover and Yom Kippur is still kept as are the annual and weekly Shabbats (Sabbaths). It was centuries later that the Roman Catholic Church in Rome who adopted by ORDER to stop Christians from observing anything related to the Messianic Jews including changing ADONAI's Shabbot from Saturday to Sunday and then called it 'The Lord's Day', when in fact, Saturday Shabbot was always called 'The Day of ADONAI'. Bishop James corrected Shaul on his teachings and Apostle Peter tried to 'save Shaul's neck' as well. Only some of Shaul's Gentile converts followed his teachings, throwing in possibly a few Jews. No one knows how Shaul died for sure. Did Shaul love Yeshua as the Messiah? Yes. He just went of the rails in some of his teachings. End of story.

Have been reading the book, THE GREAT LION OF GOD by TAYLOR CALDWELL, a book about Saul, before and after he was saved. Saul, extreme;y devout Jew, soon to become a pharisee, like the elite of Jewish religious, went after people whom he considered to be a blasphemer of God, which was an offense at that time in Israel and the person who was brought before theJewish priests/Sanhedrin, would be condemned..... Saul became so beyond CONSUMED with anger and hatred at YESHUA and His followers, plus he HATED the Roman occupiers of Israel, he was OBSESSED with his determination to wipe out the ministry....or "myth" of YESHUA BEN JOSEPH as Messiah, the ultimate BLASPHEMY, as far as Saul was concerned....Where the WORD OF GOD doesn't mention SAUL OF TARSUS until the stoning of Stephen and then his fateful mission to go to Damascus, THE GREAT LION OF GOD, shows in great detail how SAUL of Tarshish GOT to that point and how it took the risen SON OF GOD HIMSELF, THE MESSIAH, WHOM SAUL HATED WITH EVERY FIBER OF HIS BEING, to put a stop to all this and set him straight, as it were.... Anyway, it's been a really interesting and enjoyable book to read. I am nearly finished. I will be sad to see it end, but I am definitely holding on to this book......
