The leeches are not painful at all you won’t even realise they are sucking your blood, in any case you shouldn’t pull them out ever either spray moov on it or let them suck and leave on its own. For the snakes part I would consider myself lucky to have spotted the snake. Nothing is really dangerous there. Just go for it.
Hey Devansh, could you please let us know about the homestay you guys had near the trek? And also how much time does it take to climb the mountain/summit? is it a half a route or is it something a distance about 7 to 11 km from the base. Any information here would be really helpful
Just check on google maps there are quite a few homestays you can choose from. One way is around 10k going up and down is around 20k. Timing is totally on your pace it took us 6-7 hours with lunch break etc.
As you have mentioned only 40 members are allowed per day, Can you please let us know if we can book online ? or at what time we should reach to get tickets ? We will be travelling from Bangalore and if we missed to get tickets then it will be very sad.
mani kantha reddy there is nothing online it’s all done at spot. The guest house we stayed at helped us get our permission. Maybe you can call in advance for this
DR.Siva kumar it takes around 3-4 hours to reach the peak, for permission there is a office at the entrance where you can get it done you Should get this done earlier if it’s the weekend. As they allow only 40 people in a day, which is an amazing rule
Thanks man, I'll note it will ask you on our next one ! Sarvesh my personal travel planner is incharge of deciding that but mostly in Tamil nadu or Kerela
