Totally gutted he died...I think that was a mistake. It would have been better for Georgie to save him and then he be to injured in a way he couldn’t return to active service. I appreciate he’s doing Snatch now but for the viewers Tony Grounds should have kept us happy...like he’s done with CJ and Molly....ok Lacey Turner has said she’s never coming back but viewers can feel they are still together and imagine. This is so depressing and final. We wait 8 hours 40 minutes (in watching time) for them to reunite and ten mins later he’s died. Crazy. It’s crap. I know it’s about an army medic but 90% of the viewers are watching for the love story. Without that it’s v dry. For me...I’m rewatching and enjoying it....but switching off when she’s smiling at her ring in the truck. The rest makes me feel ill!! It’s funny because unless you are really into our Girl no one else understands what you are on about and why you’re so upset. I have to remember not to mention to my friends in the outside world because they think I’ve gone mad!! Beautiful video thank you so much for this
I think so, too. I mean, I was sad that they didn't mentioned Molly once. When Azizi died it would have been a nice moment for him to ask for her. She was the medic back then and they were quite close. But, I did feel like she was still together with James. They made it work. Why not try this with Georgie and Elvis? I watched Snatch and I enjoyed it, but honestly? My heart rather beat for Our Girl. True, it is about her, the medic, but he was once part of her life and she lost him. Now she - and we - finally got them back together and she loses him all over again. It was so unnecessary... Hehe, it should have ended with them smiling... I know how you feel! None of my friends watch any of the shows that I watch, that's why I'm so glad about this community. Thank you!
I do get where you are coming from, even now I still feel so sad, and while the next parts have been good, they just have not been the same. Luke is such an amazing actor and while I do understand he's doing Snatch, I wish he was still in our girl. I cannot watch further than when she smiles at her ring as I feel sad and ill watching the rest.

Hi. The letter was one he wrote in case of his death , to be given to Georgie Lane. Told her she was the only one there was never anybody else..and he didn’t tell her that enough …and that he hoped his death was quick. He said he had loved fully and completely and how lucky was he, that it was with her. And if something good happened to her it was him up in heaven telling god to look after her for him ….😢
