Just a heads-up, this is a completely different universe from GTA V, which is why the map of Los Santos looks a bit different in terms of layout, names, and other details. It’s still similar enough since both are based on Los Angeles, but the countryside is totally different. For example, Red County to the north and Whetstone to the west of Los Santos don’t appear in GTA V, but they’re mentioned a few times in GTA IV and GTA V. In GTA V, we instead have Blaine County, which was created specifically for that game. There are also two other cities, San Fierro, based on San Francisco and Las Venturas, based on Las Vegas. They also have their own counties as well, such as Bone Country of Las Venturas. These cities and counties, are mentioned in the HD universe, but their locations have been shifted around. Since GTA V only covers Southern San Andreas, we can assume that places like Red County, Whetstone, Bone County, and the two cities are part of Northern San Andreas. If you’ve played GTA III, you’ll notice a similar shift with the version of Liberty City in GTA IV compared to GTA III. This is also why characters from the 3D Universe never crossover into the newer games. According to Rockstar, they technically don’t exist in the HD Universe. That information comes from around the time of GTA IV, so it’s possible their stance has changed since then. However, in Rockstar's eyes, only certain elements, like brands and fictional celebrities, carry over between universes. For example, Lazlow Jones appears in every game, hosting on the radio, with the same backstory and career following him into each new title, regardless of the universe.
The best title in the franchise, as far as i'm concerned, i will be watching. The stuff you can do, the little things hidden here and there, the game was truly ahead of its time, a masterpiece.
GTA San Andreas will always be my favorite game ever, it combines a great story like GTA IV with even more diverse gameplay and locations than GTA V! Glad you're having fun because it's a long journey that gets better each step of the way! And that energy bar is basically your health, you can replenish it by saving or eating in restaurants or in some food vendors on the street!
You should be able to keep the radio off by setting both the radio and auto-tune settings to off in the audio settings. You could also set the radio station to West Coast Talk Radio if you want something to play on the radio with no fear of anything copyrighted playing.
This playthrough is already bringing back a lot of memories for me. I still remember playing this on the original Xbox. To this day, I still think the pedestrians in San Andreas are the funniest in the entire series. I look forward to seeing you play through this one.

If i were you, i would do the firetruck and ambulance missions. That way, when you progress through the game, you won't have a problem with the combat and shooting.
That was GTA III dude, just because you like this game more doesn't make your opinion true. Grand Theft Auto III took the series from the top down view and a niche game into a literal game changer, with dozens of copy-cats trying to recreate the magic that GTA 3 had.

Yeah, I also prefer to turn the Classic Lighting mode off. Get in a plane or helicopter, fly up high enough and you can see all the way across the map! It might ruin the immersion for some people, but I like it and I played the original version of the game on the PS2!
You turned off the radio on ONE car, the logic is that every car will be set in some random radio according to the type of car, the music really plays a BIG role here in SA

always enjoy seeing a new player playing this classic. 1) you need to move the music volume slider to 0 to stop the radio. 2) the "timer" in the top right is the time in game, in the 24 hour format. "military time" to Americans, I guess. 3) every time you start a mission you heal back to 100% health anyway, without needing to manually save or find health 😃

For those that don't know, C.R.A.S.H., which is referenced throughout the game and Tenpenny and Pulaski are part of, stands for Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums. It was established by the LAPD in the 80s to deal with the rising gang problems brought on by the crack epidemic.

Hi Lite! Yes, welcome to the 3D universe of GTA. Now, this universe has no connections to the HD universe you know specifically GTA 4 and 5. So, don’t expect the same setting of cities or mentioned of like Liberty City or Los Santos. These are separate. Now, I highly advise to be careful while off mission. Because unlike in the HD universe of GTA, if you get killed off missions, the hospital will take all of your weapons including body armor if any. Be careful as money is a valuable asset in this game like in GTA 5 for example. 😊❤️
Yeah, if you get arrest…, sorry, I mean Busted😉, you’ll also lose your weapons & armor. However, you can prevent the loss of your weapons in both situations by dating two girls. Although, the game doesn’t guide you to them, you have to find them yourself later on in the second and third ‘chapters’ of the story.
Hey Teegan, great video!👍 Hope you enjoy playing the game.😊I recently finished it on PS5 and got the 100% Completion & Platinum Trophies! So here are a few hints: Save just before starting any Story Mission or Vehicle Sub-Mission. It’ll help should you die midway through. You can find some basic weapons & body armor very close to CJ’s house. First off, when you leave after saving, turn left and head for the overpass the other side of Ryder’s house. Run into the rotating ‘i’ icon to get an info pop-up and look about 45 degrees left. You’ll see another rotating icon, this is Brass Knuckles, very handy when you don’t have any guns! (Incidentally, there is another Game-Tag just around that corner of the overpass.) There is a Shovel behind Ryder’s house if the idea of whacking the heads of people appeals to you. Next, find a vehicle that doesn’t have a low roof or is a convertible. Ryder’s Picador (which you drove for his Mission) might work, but if it’s spawned next to Sweet’s house, I prefer to use his Greenwood. Drive it right up to the house in between his & your garage, so the car is wedged touching the fence and the left side of the house. Get out and climb up onto the roof of the car, you should be able to jump up and grab onto the roof of the house. Climb up onto the roof and look left, jump over onto the roof of Sweet’s house. You will now see a Tec-9 Machine Pistol, grab it and go over to the opposite corner and jump off. Don’t worry, you won’t lose health. Make sure you’re next to the fence on your right, turn left and run north towards the road. In the corner, you’ll find a 9mm pistol. Turn around 180 degrees, run back past Sweet’s house and make your way around the wrecked car to the gap in the wall/fence. Turn left and head down the ramp onto the Storm Drain. When you’re underneath the bridge, look left & up and you’ll see a Body Armor icon/pick-up right there. Turn back around and run past the ramp to the next bridge and look right and up on a ledge, you can see a Micro SMG Machine Pistol. If you have already have got a Tec-9 M/P, walk over to the Micro and you won’t automatically pick up the gun because you’ve got the alternate. Pressing the button prompted by the pop-up will swap out the original gun for the new one, because you can’t hold more than one of the same type of weapon. IMO, there’s no real difference between the two guns besides the sounds they make when firing and one is slightly faster than the other, it just comes down to personal preference. Apologies for the long post. More to come…😳😉
I still have my PS3, and I'm in the middle of playing GTA: SA right now. Only problem is, they ported the mobile version, so there were some gameplay issues. But overall, I'm not dissatisfied. I never learned what exactly people have against this Definitive Edition, but Ms. Liteweight is in for a treat.

The GTA game I've poured the most hours into my whole life and now know like the back of my hand. It's the longest game and has the biggest game map that not even 4 and 5 are this big, as awesome as those games are. This game is also a comedy and meme goldmine (like a lot of the other games)

I’m Actually still playing GTA San Andreas I’ve gotten so far in the game and fun fact about officer tenpenny is being voiced Act by Samuel L Jackson who was also in Deep Blue Sea and Kong Skull island and pope Fiction as well but I love these games tho and you too liteweight San Andreas is the funniest game I’ve ever played and the funnest as well #teamLite
I still remember getting to the second island for the first time and seeing the Forth rail bridge, such a great Easter egg for anybody from Scotland

The GTA game I've poured the most hours into my whole life and now know like the back of my hand. It's the longest game and has the biggest game map that not even 4 and 5 are this big, as awesome as those games are. This game is also a comedy and meme goldmine (like a lot of the other games)
