    One of the best lecture explaining the basic characteristics of photodetectors. Simple, logical, step by step approach. He expalined in excellent fashion, which include all technical details, yet easy to follow and understand the very first time itself.

    exp(-5) approaches to 0, so if alpha.d > = 5, then the absorption factor will be 1
