I just like Colbourne more atm Lennox seems too....untrustworthy - esp with getting Tom into the gambling side of things. Here we go again Tom - for christ sake man.

I didn't think Charlotte having a love story with anyone else could ever measure up to her story with Sidney, but they did NOT disappoint. I am LOVING Charlotte and Colbourne!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

that is probably why I still can not come over the fact that excellent Theo James is not coming back but we have to go along with the mediocre of acting and appearance in this Sanditon Season 2. No one can measure up to Sidney period.
@@sradakovlovebird11 It's probably just preference. I was so in love with Season 1 and heartbroken to find that Sidney wasn't coming back, but after watching this season, I actually don't even miss him, lol.
I actually started rewatching Season 1 to compare back-to-back, because I think I like this season just as much.
@@vanityshop5155 Good for you. I never watched Days of Our Lives or similar soaps. Prefer masterfully done production with great cast, costumes, scenario, plots, dialog, choreography, music. All what Sanditon 1 had in abundance. Enjoy for me!

I have made an observation, so when Charlotte first met Sidney and every time she spoke to him before falling in love she had her frustrated, confused, can't figure him out kind of expression. But when she first started having her first feelings with Sidney her face expressions changed to admiring and cautious glances. So here I have recognized those same exact expressions with coulbourne, her face expressions change into admiring and cautious when she gazes at him stroking his horse. So it's a sign that she seeing him in a new way and is gaining interest in him. Just like when she first started seeing Sidney in a new way as well. And I also noticed the more scenes colborn and Charlotte have together after the horse scene her face expressions become more and more deep and admiring towards him! Oh it's so exciting I can't wait for more episodes!

Sidney had that brooding, arrogant vibe that Mr.Darcy would have, he was hot and he knew it.
This guy, he's more real and that makes him terribly attractive. The way he looks at her it's the way any girl would like to be looked upon. He's more of the next door kinda of guy, and I like their tension.
It's like with Sidney it was a passionate love, while with him it would be a life lasting comfortable love and in this sense it might be much stronger.

I feel like half the time Charlotte was so drawn to Sidney because he had a bad opinion of her and she cared about that. You could argue she didn't know him well enough. Sure, he was nice looking but a relationship with Colbourne is much stronger, better foundations.

I've watched these Sanditon videos relentlessly. Every time I hear Colbourne say "until tomorrow then" I melt. Please don't make us wait an entire year to see these two reunited! 💗 💓 Love Charlotte and Colbourne!

I loved watching Charlotte Heywood and Alexander Colbourne's incredibly engaging love story! The scriptwriters and casting crew did an amazingly incredible job with Season 2. Season 1 was good-but, all things considered, Sidney Parker (whom I basically liked) didn't really deserve a woman like Charlotte. (Sidney and Eliza Campion, who both married for money, were only capable of a shallow kind of love, so they deserved each other.) Alexander Colbourne is clearly a far better man, and he has EVERYTHING-intelligence, integrity, maturity, passion, and good looks-and that's just for starters.
I agréé whith this analyse Sydney Parker a man with an apparence physical beautiful IS not a good man for Charlotte who has a lot of humaniste qualités il aime trop l' argent et n' hésitez pas à sacrifier Charlotte par intérêt Alexander est un vrai gentleman même si son passé fait d' expériences douloureuses l' empêche durant un moment de dévoiler ses sentiments a Charlotte il va tout faire pour changer et y parvenir les apparences sont souvent trompeuses dans la vie comme dans les romans de Jane austen
i like how she isn't quick to judge harshly now that she got to know sidney. she was was super skeptical of captain lennox when he blacked Colbournes name.

I love how Colbourne listens to all the advice Charlotte gives him, thinks about it and then puts it into action. He was doing so well until his mistake at the end of season 2!
I loved Charlotte and Sidney chemistry and i was worried about the love triangle between Charlotte captain Lennox and Mr Colbourne, but seeing actions of both men i can tell that M. Colbourne is end game.

A big red flag for Cornel Lenax is one Lenorx has pushed Tom Parker into gambling twice. Why what is Lenorx up too ? Two he has made Colburn seem dangerous and untrustworthy.

I think Colburn is a man in grief and loss like Charlotte. I hope the writers give both Charlotte and Colburn a happy ending together.
Please please bring back Esther's husband back find another actor to replace the original actor if he doesn't want to return to the show
Oh gosh yes! Babbington seemed so shallow when he first showed up, but he understood Esther’s situation and got her away from Edward.
I ordered the DVD, of course I won’t get it til after this season is done - I’m so glad we get another season after this.

I like Colbourne. So,he's no Sidney (beautiful eyes though)but I think he's a bit of a mix between Sidney, mr Darcy and mr Rochester. And I love these guys. Can't wait to see where this is going.

I definitely think Colbourne is endgame for various reasons but theres one observation I have made about Lenox, has anyone noticed that the flowers that were given to Charlotte from Lenox weren't even picked by Lenox himself. They were picked by the soldier who has a scar (cant remember his name) when allison was picking flowers as well, she asks him who is he picking flowers for and he says for Lenox, and then later in the episode charlotte receives the same flowers that the guy with the scar picked. Even Allison notices it as well. Dont you find it strange for a guy (Lenox) who likes a girl to ask someone else to pick flowers for her. I mean if he (Lenox) really was serious about her he would've picked the flowers himself. It's more meaningful that way. Am I right? Even though Charlotte doesn't know that the flowers from Lenox weren't even picked by Lenox himself, the corn flowers that charlotte admired at the end of episode 3 were more meaningful to her because they were picked by colbournes daughter leo and given by colbourne himself. And also I love how colborne gave the corn flowers to Charlotte with no courting intentions in mind but he gave them to her out of genuine response to her loving the cornflowers. 😊

It's not yet Bridgerton level of longing but I feel we will get there soon this season with these two (or I hope they do ). I also hope if they are endgame there is a 3rd season and they don't get together until that...so it gives them more time to develop everything, and also time for Charlotte to properly heal.

The fact that killed Sidney in the first scene had me laughing so hard, especially after Duke Hastings didn't turn up even for a cameo in Bridgerton season 2, it was like "we shall entertain no questions about Sidney anymore" 🤣🤣 but they really did well (are doing well rather). That would almost be worse than him being dead, because I really like the Charlotte/Colbourne relationship as much as Charlotte/Sidney. So I would be so hurt seeing one left behind.
I have been quite impressed by the way they have incorporated Sydney into season 2 storyline, so much so that in parts he's been quite integral to the story.

I'm sure she won't. When the guy said Colbourne had stolen his girlfriend, I immediately thought it was quite the opposite, or more probably that Lennox had treated her wrong and Colbourne had to save her (or her reputation). We had Wickham with his stories to be watchful when it comes to some men's revelations.

I like him, but he needs to open up. And is he ready to love again, because Charlotte deserves to be happy and not hurt again. I loved Sydney, but he made the wrong decision. And I understand he felt it was the only decision to save his brother but he was still wrong. So now at this point after episode 2, I like both Colburne and the Colonel. If they follow other Jane Austen plots, the Colonel may turn out to not be a nice guy like in Pride and Prejudice. But I am not sure what the writers are planning. I will probably know more after episode 3 this Sunday. I am open to both possibilities, although after watching this, her connection with Colburne looks interesting and could be a sweet story. 🥰
That's why I like how Charlotte and Mr. Colbourne story is going. Not so fast because Charlotte is still grieving Sidney and Mr. Colbourne is grieving too.
No one will ever replace Sidney for me. His acting of the character was incredible!! I haven't been able to really get into the new season.

I too was very disappointed with this new season… at least until episode 4. I was hooked from beginning to end of this one! The first few episodes were building to this…so good!
Ok, no one in my humble estimation will replace Sidney. I am intrigued by this Colbourne character. Their both grieving and both deserve to find love. So, we shall see how this plays out. Hopefully to Charlotte's advantage.
So much more to anticipate with Colbourn, unlike Sydney who walked about with dark looks but no real character. The problem with Theo James is he has a pretty face, but no depth is present.

Honestly I agree, I am totally invested with the 3 juicy guys: Lockhart, Colbourne and the scarred guy. Many cries about Sidney but there is so much for me this season 🥰🥰 even if are typical tropes, I don't care, I love all of the three couple. The more the better 🤣
Yes! Lockhart maybe more educated in the art of seduction and being carefree, but he was completely gobsmacked when he saw Georgiana.
Captain Fraser takes his career seriously; Captain Carter and Edward, not so much.
Something about Lennox isn’t sitting well; the only time I hear anyone say they don’t want to muddy up another’s character by saying anything, is when he wants to besmirch and have his audience ask what he knows.
I hope Charlotte sees Lennox for what he is; a liar and user.

I'm really curious how their story will unfold. I hope they add e bit of drama. I'm slightly disappointed in the writing, It seems a bit lame compared to S1, the dialogues less witty (except Esthers) and unpredictable. Charlotte as a horsewhisperer, I don't know🙄, they could have found an other occasion for the two to get closer.
Did you forget, that Charlotte grew up on a farm? So Charlotte being a "horsewhisperer," is not so far fetched. I feel the story is unfolding fine.

That's a situation of the last man on Earth. With season 3 being filmed as well, there are no other leading men actors coming. It also means that poor Esther stays away from her husband. I think I will invest more in Allison and Fraser, and probably Georgiana and painter guy. Mr. Rochester/Colbourne line is predictable and boring.
Allison and Fraser are dancing around each other; she’s keeping her options open, for Fraser, he was intrigued the first time he saw her.
Like Lizzie and Darcy at the ball; he was in love before he got to the other side of the ballroom.
Fraser is basically courting Allison; he’s helping Carter with notes and poetry.

@@frogprincess8203 Its annoying how people are so focused on the physical aspect of the main leads ugh, I always fall in love with the main leads who had their personality and character stand out more than their appearance! Theres something soooooo terribly attractive about that! That's what love is all about. Even though I myself enjoy some attractive people on the outside but I cant help but keep finding myself liking the least attractive ones on outside because the inside part is much more enchanting! Hotness is overrated

You two are in the minority. The vast majority of Sidlotte fans have realized it was always Charlotte’s story. The looks Mr. Colbourne sends to our girl are truly swoon worthy. Although the cliff kiss between Sidney and Charlotte was incredibly hot, Mr. Colbourne’s tentative, careful, soft approach to Charlotte was just what she needed. They did both commit though and the kiss became very memorable. Love them together…open you hearts ♥️
I loved the actor. Perfect on screen chemistry with Charlotte. Alexander is much better fit than Sidney.

They've totally destroyed Sanditon! All second grade storyline and actors. No longer Jane Austen but some b grade Regency period drama.
