Sir, The route you took from Indore to Omkareshwar was wrong...Actually the road from Indore to Omkareshwar is good and now they are making it four lane....And at the time when you visited here, it was raining continuously in Indore for the last 3 days, hence the condition was bad.
Hello, this vlog is misleading. I suggest the channel owner to change the title and state clearly that they took wrong route from Indore. Road from Indore to Omkareshwar is a smooth ride.. one has to take right route. Indore to Omkareshwar is about 85 kilometres and it generally take about 2-2.5 hours to reach there by car depending upon what time you are traveling. Also a suggestion to get Google suggested route verified with some local folks.
Hi... Swayam.. Just wanted to let you know that the road you took to Omkareshwar is not the main road to Omkareshwar.. That road is a proper two lane (currently the work is going on to make it a four lane). Although the traffic is heavy but it is a well paved road which connects Indore to Hyderabad.... The road which you took are the inner village roads of the villages near Indore. Also the ghat section which you crossed was not Bhairav ghat, it comes on the main Indore - Omkareshwar road. Ohh.. was not aware. When I started from hotel, gound this Vairav ghatm but while traveling did not get that. But found a small ghat stretch and considered that to be the one. Thanks for update!!! Unable to fetch time for review. Will still try to post on priority!!
Yes, I booked Shighra darshan online (200 per person) and took gate no. 4. I found it to be the closest but did not do Abhishek, that needs separate booking. It took us 10 mins from gate 4 to exit.
@@RG.......Not sure of the jal Abhishek booking. In Sheeghra darshan you can go near the entry point (door) of the inner temple. For unpaid.. you have to watch from a distance (barricade around 30 meters from the entry door)
Can you provide a few more details regarding the proper route? I am planning a visit in the coming weeks wherein I’ll be driving from Omkareshwar to Ujjain. The route proposed by google maps is via Khandwa Road (also called as Indore Ichhapur Highway). Is this the correct route and are the road conditions better now??
