By far the best whaler resto I've seen. The patience to get everything done correctly/attention to details and the results speak for themselves. Great work SB!
Excellent series and build work. I am thinking about kicking off a rebuild with my whaler I was gifted and appreciate all of the details you shared throughout the process. Also hoping to be down in Sebastian in the coming months and hope to see you out on the water.
You did a great job! What a beautiful boat. I just bought one and it needs some TLC looks wise. It’s my first boat so I’m not worried how good it looks I just want to take out a few times before Md Winter comes.
Nice job. I’m waiting till next week to get a new 2024 25 tohatsu. Even though I’m a mercury guy , the tohatsu is 55 pounds less and more affordable for me. I have a 2009 50 mercury 2 stroke and it weighs 204 pounds. So downsizing in weight and horsepower is a no brainer for me. Plus the fuel savings will be best
What a fantastic job you did!!! How far forward did you move the helm/bench? Do you think this was necessary to compensate for the extra weight of the 4 stroke engine?
Wow what a freaking video!! ….. I got me a 1977 - 13ft I would like you to do a restoration like this on my boat. How much would something like that cost.
lots of variables. paint ,primer , sandpaper, resin. 500 bucks ish. do you need new rub rail several hundred bucks. new steering another 150ish, , chrome bow light 200ish, new motor 4 to 5 k. is all your wood restorable if not then more money. if i had to pay for everything that i did, including motor i would say 6 thousand ish. i had some help with sponsors. but i went full on. so work within your budget and get it on the water.
Amazing work fixing this boat up!
thanks

What type of trailer is this? The one I got with the boat is old and in rough shape.
i beleive it is an old magic tilt trailer. it is in great shape for how old it is .
My cousin actually put a 75hp on one of these boats and then a few years later he top that engine with 115hp.
thats like one of those V8 motorcycles
An ad for Total Boat.
na just the stuff i used. they should pay me. lol
