Nice comparison. My 100 year Master is one of those locks where everything came together just right to make it a hard lock to pick. It drops pins constantly and the slop in the core works to it’s advantages. The Abus is just too smooth to be hard 😅
I agree the Abus is like ice. You can feel everything in it. It's almost to the point of wondering how high it will get ranked once it gets to that point. For my Master Lock Core, it's just about like yours than. Lots for wiggle room for pins to drop back out.✌️💜🤙
They really are. They did a great job. If you haven't checked out the upgrade that Lock Junkie did to his. I think that if they would have done it that way, it would have looked even better.✌️💜🤙
Nice! I've got the ABUS but not the Master. Very cool comparison video, I love this! Thanks for sharing! (Bobby Keyz made me a crimped core follower 3d printed, it works great) 😘😘😘
That's who it was. I remember seeing you talk about it on a live but couldn't remember who. The 100-year master is fun, but it's very similar in my opinion to a master No1. Maybe that should be my next one. My guess is that's what they did was put a No1 inside a pretty cover. Thanks for the kind words, LL!🤙💜✌️
The master lock anniversary is not one of my favorites. It's a weird pick with that heavy duty shakle. Kind of hard to pull. On the other hand the Abus anniversary feels nice to pick. I have the one with the Y1 keyway.
I think that if Master Lock had done something similar to the Abus anniversary lock, it would not be as bad as it is. The body weather cover is what really makes it a pain. The cover gets in the way of rotation for the core and doesn't allow the shackle to pop open really a letdown, I agree. The Abus is just spools. I feel if they had tossed in one serrated pin, it would have made it that much better. All in all, two decent locks to learn spool picking from, though.🤙💜✌️
Interesting
Thanks McD!🤙💜✌️
Nice comparison!
Thank you the comparison that no one asked for, lol.🤙💜✌️
Great side by side comparison! Nice video!
These comparisons are kinda fun. I have no idea what locks to do next, but that's part of the fun.✌️💜🤙
