I have just sat my Paper 3 exam and the 30 marker was to “evaluate contributions of realist theories to crime”.
I know you are supposed to write 6 main body paragraphs but I only wrote 4 because I could only find 4 hooks in the Item
I wrote a paragraph each about right realist theories of crime; left realist theories of crimes; right realist methods to solve crime; and left realist methods to solve crime. I evaluated them all.
However, my paragraphs were very long because I technically merged two paragraphs into one. For instance, for right realist theories of crime, I talked about biological differences and rational choice theory in one paragraph when I could have written two separate paragraphs. However, I still evaluated them both.
So, will this affect me and if my content and analysis/evaluation are good could I hit the top band requirement or would 4 paragraphs limit me?
