It's week 6, and right around now is when many moms start to feel truly pregnant, thanks to symptoms like heartburn, nausea and frequent urination. Meanwhile, your little sweet pea is the size of, well, a sweet pea, measuring ⅕ to ¼ of an inch from crown to rump.
Incredibly, your baby is starting to gain those features that hint at the adorable little one to come. You know, the human stuff like a head and the beginnings of a mouth, eyes, jaw and chin. See those little indentations where you'd think that cheeks will be? They're actually earbuds. And speaking of budding buds, check out the limb buds that are starting to sprout from the trunk. They'll grow into arms and legs, and very soon nodules will develop at the end of these limb buds and eventually become tiny hands and feet.
And that's just what's happening on the outside. There's plenty of activity on the inside as well. Major organs are taking shape, including the kidneys, liver and lungs, and that brand new heart is already beating approximately 110 times per minute, a rate that's rising every day.
I’m 6 and a half weeks pregnant this is my first baby and I’m feeling so blessed to have this miracle growing inside of me I have pcos and was told that it would be extremely hard for me to get pregnant on my own but god is good and now I’m on the road to motherhood❤❤❤

Girl we’re in the same road !! Also pcos and high prolactin I was prescribed several medications and was told I couldn’t get pregnant without medication and finally I got pregnant it’s a huge shocker I am 6 weeks and 2 days today !! I owe it all to God 🙏🏾 I also lost weight changed my diet and took tons of vitamins tea and supplements we’re a testimony that it can happen naturally

I am 5 week and 4 days. It’s my first ivf two days back ultrasound took to see sac and it was not visible. Now I am anxious next week I will take another ultrasound. Believe I will hear the cute heartbeat 💓

@Desstiii you calculate from your last period. That is when they begin counting the weeks. Mine was January 18th so I'm currently 6 weeks and 3 days I believe.

6 weeks today, my second child but this pregnancy is different. If i don't take something for the nausea and vomiting for the day i won't be able to keep any food or liquid down. I'm bloated, minor cramping and loads of heartburn at night. I hope it gets better in the next few weeks

On 11/25/23 my wife miscarried our 15 week(exactly) baby boy. She had a 12 cm fibroid(benign growth/non-cancerous) that was never discovered until that day in her uterus that caused her to go into early labor. She was rushed to the hospital bleeding heavily and needed an emergency c-section and the fibroid removed. Needless to say the baby passed away inside of her about 12 hours prior to the removal of the baby. She is still currently recovering at home and suffering through major depression. This sucks. Everything sucks. Merry Christmas! 💔

I'm 6 wks and 4days pregnant today.. my emotions have been all over the place for the past week and my anger has reached an all time high. I find myself snapping more at my partner, holding grudges and just saying some awful shih to him ...my communication level has def hit an all time low . I said some hurtful stuff to him yesterday and basically told him I'm having an abortion and that he just needs to leave my apartment. I want my baby more than anything and why I said those things is bc I'm scared, I don't feel like myself , I can't regulate my emotions. This is supposed to be a happy time and I feel everything other emotion but happiness... I don't know how to undue what I've done as far as hurt him w my words...I don't have family I can talk to..
Just curious of how so many details can be known by science if the baby inside the mom's womb at this stage is so small to see from outside with the regular technology used for check ups. Can someone confirm if the studies are done in labs over unborn babies?

I lost a baby at about 6 weeks pregnant. I saw my precious tiny baby come out with the tony placenta attatched. The baby had a tiny mark where the eyes would have grown. I lost another baby at about 8 weeks pregnant. Then another at 6 to 7 weeks pregnant. On my fourth pregnancy, I was given a trial of a hormone drug. I am very tiny, and I my weight plunged to 6 stone 11Ib due to the severe sickness condition. My waters broke in town when I was 38 weeks pregnant. I gave birth to a healthy 8lb 6oz baby boy, but due to the obstetrician's neglect, I was crippled giving birth. He refused the doctor's advice of giving me a caesarean. I'm so grateful for my miracle son. I lost another three babies after my son. I lost them so early. I love them all dearly and hope to see them in Heaven. I found out I had severe endometriosis when I kept having to stay in hospital due to agonising pains. When I had a full hysterectomy, the doctor told me my womb was full of fibroids.
