I was at this service.. I just so happen to be staying in the area for this month.. it’s been a crazy journey .. the day we brought our first baby home from the hospital we lost our home to flood 5 months ago. Then I got post partum depression and anxiety really bad … and now I’m in Jacksonville because my husband admitted his drinking and addictions he was hiding from me were getting out of hand and needed help… so here I am going through the hardest months of my life as a new mom with my husband away for 5 months getting help.. God has been the only One getting me through the lowest feelings and nights of my life. My husband wrote me that he just got saved and I went to this service and broke down at the end .. because God is pulling us both out of this valley of life.. and it’s not over . We have some ways to go…. Can’t wait for the next service!
Praise God🙌I love hearing testimony. Mental health is Real but many people struggle with it I know I did for years not saying your crazy but bold and have humbleness. God is good and I am proud of you 7/31/24 God is beautiful and I pray for hand to cover your family in jesus name amen. Love you far away and praying for your family. Your not alone
I so needed to hear this. I too have found an amazing Christian therapist. We talk about how important our Faith in Christ is when talking about Mental Health. The mind is an endless battlefield with some many places for the enemy attack. Sometimes I don't see it coming or understand why the enemy is attacking that part of my life.

I listen to your sermons from Monroe, LA almost every week! I love my pastor and I also love your preaching! Thank you for fighting for mental health! As a person who has struggled with mental health, it’s so important to be proactive in fighting it with God’s truth!
The way the Bible says to renew your mind and to not be conformed to this world is by the washing of the word of God. Study your Bible. Read God’s word! It’s nearly impossible to be depressed when you are in God’s word daily.
Jesus did not experienced mental health issues. Mental health issues either come about because of physical issues (hormonal imbalances, etc), or because of spiritual (sin) issues. The only exception to Christ experiencing “mental health issues” was at the crucifixion when physical issues became the means of his anguish.

Can I ask where your husband went for help? Mine just relapsed and doesn't have insurance so options are slim.
