I cannot believe those tanks! The clearest I have ever seen. It must have been so hard not to be able to take fish home. They looked so healthy and beautiful. Thank you for these video's.
Cory, love the videos! Those massive peacock bass gave me an idea... you should make a live stream about them seeing as how they are rarely talked about and are the biggest species of Cichlid after all. You could include gars and other species of fish found in the USA or discuss which fish you would want as the star for various sizes of aquarium to round out the stream, but that is just an idea! Can't wait to see what's next.

Those aquariums get me everytime you show more footage of the various shops. They are just so pristine. Really makes me feel like the slacker I am, compared to how they keep their tanks on a daily basis. Hope you feel better soon, Cory. As others have said, do get checked for DTV, you do have some risk factors for it, however, I don't see that being related to your fever, then again I am, by no means, a medical doctor. Just a concerned long time fan.

A few things I noticed, 1) there are NO HOB filters, the tanks use sumps (large tanks). Sponge filters for small tanks. 2)The overflow towers have the weir at the bottom, not at the top. In the US we typically have the weir at the top. This I believe goes a long way in explaining why the bottom of the tanks is so spotless.

I too suffer from anexity and PTSD. Getting back into the hobby has helped so much. not sure if you are a hobbiest but if your not, maybe give it a go. I do wish you peace, and hope you feel better.✌️👍
Just a tip from someone who suffered from anxiety in the past and has gotten over it, being aware of it and just facing it head on is the long term solution you are looking for. It will be hard at times but seeking distraction is only a temporary solution. There are several psychological methods that deal with anxiety in a really good way and help alleviate it in the long run, getting help from a pshychologist will help a ton. But the most important part is just being aware and telling yourself it's anxiety everytime you suffer from it. This way you condition your brain to be prepared when it arises and the awareness itself can help to reduce the impact anxiety has by up to 60% (as proven by dubble blind clinical tests). Again as someone who dealt with anxiety in the past and got rid of it, it can and will change over time! you can do it!
Amanda Smith I suffer from anxiety everyday main reason I got into fish..I'm on prescription for it but I don't like but can't go without and the fish are like a getaway when things get bad witch is alot in my life I work on me pond or go out to me pond.. and Cory king of DIY master apuatics swiskey and curvus and many more have being helping me withouth relising it on really greath full. ..I watch yous are video at night before bed and in the morning before starting me day yous are role models without noing it salute. .and Amanda its only temperary as they say but anxiety is real an it everyday wasn't for these guys we would depend on medication More
James Wilson I own my own photography studio and it has played a big part of helping with my everyday anxiety., when I have an onset panic attack they mostly come to me during the night, that is why I sleep with my iPad beside me in the bed along with my two dogs, a cat and my poor hubby who is way waaay over on his side of the bed barley hanging on. Lol.. I hate to wake him up like I have in the past freaking out thinking I’m dying or having a heart attack so now that I know it’s just a panic attack and I’ll be okay so I like to get my iPad and watch some relaxing YT vids and maybe play a little game app. Thanks everyone for letting me know I’m not alone and for sharing some ur anxiety stories.

6:29 those Cats are Walking Catfish, they’re an invasive species in almost everywhere except Asia. Here in Singapore they’re used as feeders and they’re sold in the 70s though, but those are the size of a penny. They do grow very fast though, and they can walk on land, hence the name. That is why they are so invasive.
They are in fact Walking Catfish, or Clarias Batrachus, mottled variety. They are still being sold EVERYWHERE here in Indonesia, usually at around 5 cm long and for absolute peanuts. Hence you get schoolkids buying them by the dozen, unbeknownst to them that they grow super fast even in super ugly water and gets HUGE. Cute fish, but absolutely unsuitable for the average aquarium.

Tarpons r underrated but here in Malaysia everyone is obsessed with arowanas but Tarpons r the best..I have a 20 cm Tarpon hopefully he'll grow bigger
