I've been a huge Quo fan for more than 20 years and I was pretty sad when Rick passed away... And I didn't have so much confidence on this new incarnation but I'm speechless. Not only the musicianship and power, but the passion all the members deliver is incredible!!!!! Rick must be smiling wherever he is :) I hope they can record something, the chemistry they're showing might create good material!!! Hopefully I'll be able to see them again soon!
20 years? Try 47 years. I always liked Francis's voice and Alan Lancaster was good as well. Rick was an incredible guitarist but I always found his voice a bit high pitched and lacking in range. Like you I never thought I would like this reborn lineup, but they are good and Richie's voice is not bad at all. Some much for the Last of the Electrics tour.
Brilliant! What a find Richie is, great rock voice bringing back that dimension of Quo that's been missing, I hope he gets more lead vocals as the year goes on because he really gives the band the drive that they used to have. Really good video too, thanks.

Hi Evque! Thank you again for uploading! Richie sounds a little bit like Rick when he's singing. Pure Power! Quo will go on. BFM was always outstanding as it is very very heavy neckbreaking song! But: i've never been a friend of Andy's keyboards. They have given them too much space especially when playing live. Quo for me is a pure guitar band!
How many years were there between Roy Lynes leaving and Andy joining permanently? Very few indeed out of the history of the band. There were always some keyboards on even what are regarded as FF albums.
Rick left the foundations of the Band, firmly planted on earth. Francis will eventually retire, and be replaced. As each member leaves the band through time, they will be replaced with new blood. The Quo will stand the test of time because each original member laid the foundation blocks, which steadily grew over the years. Progressive musicians will add their contributions and the Status quo monument will be there for all to see. Of that, I am certain.

Richie is a very good replacement for Rick. Will jell as they play more. But what about Rhinos son hes very good and wstched a video where he played with Rossi and Rossis son too
