Hi Ademola.. I just want to thank you and your team for putting your videos here in youtube. Having to see you explain things like how to approach each of the criteria of the APIE, Skills, PV, and EBP had greatly helped me understand the OSCE exam. I just want to go back to one of your videos to tell you that I passed and I am very grateful. 😊
Please the question for implementation for end of life patient, the patient was supposed to have metoclopromide at 16:00 but was not given, and the assume time for medication was18:00 and the pt was complaining of nausae n vomiting should the metoclopromide be given? And do one chart it? Pls urgent answer needed
Since it's not due at your time you can't give it. Check on prn medication if there's any anti sickness then give it , if not escalate to the doctor to prescribe one.
Guys please ensure you counted the radial pulse for a complete 2 minutes of not or if you count less than that you will fail the station on this occasion.
Hello Unified OSCE: more wins. Want to confirm what happens during the resit of failed ( API): if passed evaluation, since old scripts are returned, will candidate just look through and correct mistakes into the new sheets. Or will just repeat everything, and document into the new sheet and then hand over evaluation (already passed) again?
Hi Rehoboth, Ohh!! know it could be disappointing. The way forward please do not be in a haste to go back for the resit, even if you are given a date you can request for a convenient date. You will not be given the old script, but you will have same scenario. Please practice with the scenario you have in your Exam, Improve on what you did right, critically reflect on the corrections recieved and fix it. Keep telling yourself that you can do it. waiting for your success story.
Hi, one can read out the medical history briefly and check if compliant. Psychosocial history and medications will be more relevant during Evaluation Station.
Yes ma: apart from the regular ( 1ml / 100 iu ) insulin syringe, there is one that labelled 0.3ml. Please browse : and was told to administer 14units of insulin from it . And also do you store or discard the remaining insulin injection in the " plastic bottle" after withdrawing appropriate dose ? Please drop your contact number for me, my exam is 3 days from now, please I need help, let's talk.
Hi, U can send a message to Unifiedosce2022@gmail.com. You do not need 0.3ml for this purpose, you are not required to do any calculation please. The insulin syringe is accurate for the required 14iu, each line on 100 iu is 2iu on the insulin syringe. You can store insulin for maximum of 28days from opening date, which must be labelled on the vial, this can be verbalise, if required. All the best.

Hello Ademola : please how do you measure 14units of insulin in 0.3ml syringe?
Hi, insulin syringe is only applicable for this. Can you please have a look at Unified video on subcutaneous injection..
Ma, do you need to ask about his medical, psychosocial problems and past medications as stated in the scenario given to you
Hi, one can read out the medical history briefly and check if compliant. Psychosocial history and medications will be more relevant during Evaluation Station.
No questions on sexual aspect of his assessment will that be acceptable
Hi, it's ok to add that. Thanks

What will be the planning for this patient
Hi, problem for planning depends on presenting problem and scenario.
Based on this one can plan on reduced Mobility, pain, end of life.
You put dot on the alert column not capital A, you only put A in air column
It is perfectly ok to put A for - Alert, alternative choice of putting dot is acceptable as well. Thanks
First one here 🎉🎉

Please are you not going to score the diastolic?
Hi, only the systolic is scored. But it is required to chart the systolic/diastolic.
Hi mam, Is it okay to do A - E assessment without having apron and gloves?
Apron and gloves is optional for assessment. It depends on your centre.
@@unifiedosce5580 Thank you 🥰🥰
No longer you need to wear an apron and gloves at the time of assessment .
