Good review. Any NAS storage options?
I have EC2, C200 and C300 with NAS. I have the magnetic eyeball camera that I nove around connected to a power bank I can put it anywhere.

I have several of the EC3 model and they are the worst security cameras I ever had. Disconnects every time, the motion detection sometimes works and other not, the SSD management also is not working, when the SSD is full, just stop sending alarms and recording. They are so unreliable. Previously I had a Dahua DVR who supports burning hot in summer, freeze cold on winter, sudden electric power offs and it keeps working for years without any maintenance but replacing the HDD drive after 3 - 4 years. Shame on Xiaomi for these low-quality products, I'm replacing them for Dahua IP cameras.

Here you need a sticker on the entrance to the ground from the street that everyone can decide before entering the property to turn around, not in front of the entrance door to the building cause then the sign would be too late.
Be lucky if the landlord told you kindly, cause here you would get a fine from the city administration for violating others privacy.
You looking out of the window is not the same as a 247 operating camera. Fines are not cheap - up to 500€ or 450 gbp per complain. 10 days and you could get 10x a fine, but only the first 500€ and the following get cheaper.
Why so high?
To make people learn and taking care faster.

The place is already labelled with CCTV warnings on the entrance. So one extra wouldn't really do anything.
So as long as I stand in the window and hold the camera myself it's ok 😁 as you can record ppl in public spaces where expectations of privacy are different. These things vary from country to country. I think Germany or Austria banned dashcams? Which introduce interesting predicament for cars like Tesla with build in recording systems.
