In 2017 my daughter joined vajiram and ravi institute for coaching .The classes were held for the entire 11months only at the basement .who gave them the licence and if not why did'nt no action was taken .I think the coaching instituts in delhi are hand in gloves with the authoritis to do unfair trade practices .Dam the ethics paper coaching by the institute .SHAME.SHAME .

Students were giving mock in the library. So I’m assuming that many students were there. The person in the video said that he had seen CAT ambulances enter the main building eight times to carry the bodies of the victimes to the hospital. I’m assuming that the management wanted to sort the situation quickly without letting anyone know about the actual deaths. so it could be possible that they have sent two or more bodies in one CAT.
I read that many came alive but since they too were in same condition so is it possible that they were in ambulance but not dead but rather being sent to Emergency. I mean ambulance isn't usually used for confirmed dead. I understand it can be used that way if the administration wants and there is a mortuary van, that will confirm death. He can be right about ambulance yet wrong about number of death unless all of the safe ppl were there & didn't need to go to hospital bcz then it will be confirmed death. I am not doubting him but I have worked in hospital and can also understand mass casualty. In my area 2 yrs ago that alcohol tragedy of Bihar happened so a single doctor did 29 postmortem in 1 day and he too was traumatized bcz even for doctors that many death in one day isn't normal.

But then I got to know that the construction matters are included under the State list of the constitution and not under the Union list. Meaning that the state government and their bodies are responsible for construction approval and monitoring, and not the central government... It's just like how the central governments are responsible for border security and not the state governments... State governments even if they want cannot have a say in the border security as it comes under the Union list. Likewise Central government even if it wants cannot interfere with the approval of constructions in a state as this subject comes under the state list. There's a clear separation of power among the state and the centre in our constitution. In this case the State government body is MCD and the party running the state government is AAP... They are the ones to be blamed for their corruption and negligence.

I am also an aspirant and I live in ORN. My heart bleeds for my fellow aspirants whose lives have been lost and we are all angry. But I’m sorry, except the guy in the red tshirt (with cap), others weren’t even talking like they’re preparing for UPSC CSE. Shouting and yelling is not going to solve anything. Main issues risk being missed : 1. Why was there so much water on the road? -> Drainage system. 2. Basement libraries / classrooms etc running illegally with zero adherence to safety norms. 3. Low hanging electrical wires need to be fixed. 4. A just compensation to the families who’ve lost their childrent. Nothing less than 50Lacs each. AND this needs to be paid by Rao’s IAS. And MCD should pay their compensation separetely. 5. Frequent inspection visits by the MCD officials to avoid such tragedy in the future.

There must be criminal action against municipal authorities and all the beaurocrats who allow MCD to break the rules meant for public safety. This is happening in every part of India. Broken roads, open manholes, clogged sewage drains. Why is the municipality not accountable for this dangerous situation of commuters. When did the municipality create a helpline for reporting the problems faced by commuters. It is their job and they must do it without charging money. Every new building, new house, when constructed is made to pay bribe to the municipality as they find a fault in construction somehow. Why cant they see faults on the road like hanging open electric wires. They have taken public safety for a toss. The bearocrats too get bribe from businessmen and order the munipalilty to allow the rules to be flouted. The public is not here to pay taxes and bribes and then get this service from municipality. In 2017 my daughter joined vajiram and ravi institute for coaching .The classes were held for the entire 11months only at the basement .who gave them the licence and if not why did'nt no action was taken .I think the coaching instituts in delhi are hand in gloves with the authoritis to do unfair trade practices .Dam the ethics paper coaching by the institute .SHAME.SHAME .

The person in the video said that he had seen CAT ambulances enter the main building eight times to carry the bodies of the victimes to the hospital. I’m assuming that the management wanted to sort the situation quickly without letting anyone know about the actual deaths. so it could be possible that they have sent two or more bodies in one CAT.

I read that many came alive but since they too were in same condition so is it possible that they were in ambulance but not dead but rather being sent to Emergency. I mean ambulance isn't usually used for confirmed dead. I understand it can be used that way if the administration wants and there is a mortuary van, that will confirm death. He can be right about ambulance yet wrong about number of death unless all of the safe ppl were there & didn't need to go to hospital bcz then it will be confirmed death. I am not doubting him but I have worked in hospital and can also understand mass casualty. In my area 2 yrs ago that alcohol tragedy of Bihar happened so a single doctor did 29 postmortem in 1 day and he too was traumatized bcz even for doctors that many death in one day isn't normal.

What are parents that are socially and financially poor supposed to do? They know nothing will come of it and on top they will just suffer more physical expenses(which they don't have already) and mental harrassment. So instead they just take the money and move on. But then I got to know that the construction matters are included under the State list of the constitution and not under the Union list. Meaning that the state government and their bodies are responsible for construction approval and monitoring, and not the central government... It's just like how the central governments are responsible for border security and not the state governments... State governments even if they want cannot have a say in the border security as it comes under the Union list. Likewise Central government even if it wants cannot interfere with the approval of constructions in a state as this subject comes under the state list. There's a clear separation of power among the state and the centre in our constitution.
In this case the State government body is MCD and the party running the state government is AAP... They are the ones to be blamed for their corruption and negligence.

Accountability should be fixed
I am also an aspirant and I live in ORN. My heart bleeds for my fellow aspirants whose lives have been lost and we are all angry. But I’m sorry, except the guy in the red tshirt (with cap), others weren’t even talking like they’re preparing for UPSC CSE. Shouting and yelling is not going to solve anything.
Main issues risk being missed :
1. Why was there so much water on the road? -> Drainage system.
2. Basement libraries / classrooms etc running illegally with zero adherence to safety norms.
3. Low hanging electrical wires need to be fixed.
4. A just compensation to the families who’ve lost their childrent. Nothing less than 50Lacs each. AND this needs to be paid by Rao’s IAS. And MCD should pay their compensation separetely.
5. Frequent inspection visits by the MCD officials to avoid such tragedy in the future.
90% library’s are in basement in Delhi was there for NEET coaching, they loot students, right from coaching fee to rent, to mess, library !

These students are UPSC aspirants and they all know abt the illegalities going in these coaching centres but still went ahead and enrolled themselves in it

Totally heartbreaking, this incident. I wish everyone would follow rules and not flout them by paying off the authorities. Safety issues CANNOT be compromised upon. If any such incident occurs, the property owners are in rouble, innocent persons get affected . This is a result of greed, to earn money at any cost. When will we learn to follow rules? Totally callous attitude.Such young lives lost!

There must be criminal action against municipal authorities and all the beaurocrats who allow MCD to break the rules meant for public safety. This is happening in every part of India. Broken roads, open manholes, clogged sewage drains. Why is the municipality not accountable for this dangerous situation of commuters. When did the municipality create a helpline for reporting the problems faced by commuters. It is their job and they must do it without charging money. Every new building, new house, when constructed is made to pay bribe to the municipality as they find a fault in construction somehow. Why cant they see faults on the road like hanging open electric wires. They have taken public safety for a toss. The bearocrats too get bribe from businessmen and order the munipalilty to allow the rules to be flouted. The public is not here to pay taxes and bribes and then get this service from municipality. Do your job municipality and don't demand bribes. You are already getting your salaries. Government is also a silent observer. Give votes, give taxes and let them enjoy with your money.

I'm so confused since yesterday because (I'm bilingual and I watch two states' news channels)in telugu news channels they have informed that the victims were 2 girls and a boy(nevin) but whereas in malayalam news channels they informed the victims were 2 boys and one girl.....so there're more than 3? that's even more depressing💔

MCD of Delhi has been under BJP government for years bro. AAP has just come into power. Plus the system is not as simple as other states in New Delhi. Yes, AAP is at fault but central government isn't less responsible.
