What is the new camera?
Sony PXW Z190 and Røde NTG4+, the Canon XA50 doesn't have the same zoom speed the whole way so struggled a little with it.
@@TorAndreBrresen Z190 is a reportage camera. I don't think it's quite suitable for this kind of filming. But the picture is great.. For example, the Canon XF300 is slightly faster in focusing, although it is already an older model.
@@LSMrallyteam It will get better, i exported in too low quality i see now and forgot ND filter in the sun. I didn't really have any problems with focus, just a tiny bit in the snow dust but that's normal if you follow too close. I had just clicked the focus ring into full MF in the dark so i couldn't zoom more than 40% before it lost focus, didn't know about this future that's why i lost Larsen going out of frame there, seems pretty good in the dark. The 25x optical zoom helps a lot, 12x was too little the Canon XA50 and zoom doesn't have stable speed all the way so very hard to follow all the way. I had Sony FX1000 from in 2011, this feels similar 🙂 Panasonic HC-X1000 was not good!
@@TorAndreBrresen Yes, optical zoom is important. I have a Sony PXW-X200 with 17x opt. zoom (Fujinon !). The Canon XF300 has 18x opt. zoom (Canon L lens). But both of these cams are very good. Each of the cameras has different advantages and disadvantages (3CMOS chip 1/2'' vs. 1/3''), SxS vs. CF cards, etc..
@@TorAndreBrresen Nowadays, I think the SONY AX100 or AX 700 are also not bad for this kind of filming..
