That's good. I've never seen in MK4/Gold that Raiden or Jarek were the last before Goro in the harder towers (towers with a total of 9 characters). Edit: And Scorpion and Jax, too.
Something about MK4 is just peak MK imo The graphics and gameplay were refined in subsequent 3D MK games but MK4 just nails the aesthetic of a good MK game 2nd only to maybe MK2 I consider MKX to be a strong 3rd in that regard
I wish UMK3 had the option to change the tower. Jade is such a pain in the butt in that game and it would've been nice to have the ability to never fight her

@@ermaccer maybe but I suggested the idea because I think Quan Chi was the sub-boss in the early versions of the game when there was no Goro yet. early builds of arcade versions maybe, as i recall

I'm not doing anything big for MK4, there's certain people on MKSecrets especially that I'd like to avoid from attaching to me, don't need more people with 20 accounts requesting random shit lol
@@ermaccer Oh yeah, I know that feel. Been around in MK4 forum when I made a tutorial about replacing 3D models. Everyone was excited so much they started to asking for my FB accounts or any other. I was like wtf. Other than that, "Noob Cyborg" appeared to be a total jerk, especially when he bullied out one guy who just wanted to make a brazilian translation for an old game like MK4.
@@KeshaFilm There's also another guy that writes and acts exactly like him which is probably just another account of his. I don't understand how people can agree/argue with themselves. I had a case of that here when some guy had 3 accounts, one to request something then 2 more to agree with himself on said request. It's so obvious when they write exactly the same and have similar nicknames.
I wonder if there is some way to slow down the game a bit. MK4 runs way too fast con PC, very different to the arcade version. I have a version of MKT PC that runs at a very similar to the Arcade version of UMK3 (frame rate-wise), since 60 fps is much faster that the 53 fps (or so) that UMK3 Arcade runs at. Sorry for my englsih
@@ermaccer You're right, I just tested it and it worked just changing the Hz. One final question, would it be possible to make it run widescreen 16:9? Not streched. I know it's possible in MK4 on Project64 and Duckstation, but I've had no luck trying to get it right with a graphics wrapper
I'm actually playing Mortal Kombat Gold with a custom HD texture pack I created which I will release soon and it looks 100x more better than the Aracde version (Videos on my channel) 🙂

that's because they're preset so you are doomed to selection of whoever was setting them up 4 times each for every tower in mk4's case
Brings me back old memories when I played MK4 on N64 & my uncle likes Quan Chi was his favorite character.

I don't think there's any reliable way/generic way to inject new code to DC games, I'm not into DC development that much to know.

I can't find a reliable place to change code to randomize the palette/costume.

MK Gold is essentially ultimate MK4. But I also would be in agreement to port everything from gold into the other versions.

any framelimiter should work if you have any graphics wrapper
