I really have to say you're an excellent video maker. Your films are beautifully made, varied and not too much and not too little. I particularly enjoyed your Bendigo videos because I grew up there and live far away from there now and I felt that you really captured the essence of Bendigo. You're intelligent, you speak clearly, you're funny and very personable. In fact you caused me to binge on your videos this afternoon! From the beaches at Manly to the Christmas Markets in Austria to the ultra modern skyscraper in Chicago with the leaning feature (that would definitely make me lose my breakfast!) you are entertaining and I love your work. I hope that you continue and stay enthusiastic about what you do, because that's what makes your videos so much fun. Best wishes from me here in Australia. Btw: I've climbed to the top of that poppet head near the old Q.E. Oval too.
@@TomHallOnline I also lived in Melbourne for 8 yrs and used to visit Acland Street Balaclava to buy some of the gorgeous cakes for family afternoon teas. There was a big Jewish community living in that area and a lot of those cake shops were run by Jewish and other European migrant families who came out here after the 2nd world war. That's why there is a wonderful cosmopolitan vibe down there, we are so lucky to have that in Australia.
loved the video .. as an expat us who lives in australia and has family ties tobendigo its great. I've lived there for a year, and never pass up an opportunity to visit.. very beautiful city
Hey Tom, I have actually been on that lookout. There used to be a small drawn sign on the lookout in ink saying "I am not a vandal, just a little kid with a pen!!!" Thanks as always for the interesting walk and talk. The area where you are standing near the fountain is called Charing Cross. All the best. Rob.
Where's the green cube?
loved this video - thanks Tom! :)
What a beautiful city.
