Roland loves making these videos and his fans sure love watching them. So personable it's the next closest thing to being in the boat with him. Thank you sir!
Good to see you again Roland. Just recently found you and your son on UA-cam since I'm back into fishing again. I enjoy your shows as much asi did in the 80's God bless you, your a great teacher and fisherman. I'm showing my sons your videos.
Roland, don't you give them haters any response, i think you call out fish sizes very accurately. Fish look smaller on camera, makes a 5lber look like 2 maybe 3lbs. You gotta look for the small clues ti tell how heavy over is but it all comes from time and experience from catching the bigguns. i love you Rowland, take care buddy. You made me the fishing machine i am today sir. Love your videos man, keep it up!
I love your channel so much. It always gives me great joy to watch you fish and I like your style. You make it easy to learn and never come across as anything but humble and grateful. You are a good teacher and a gentleman . Thank you for sharing your knowledge and joy of fishing with us.
Roland, I've been a life-long fisherman who enjoys fresh- and salt-water fishing. Never have I come across someone with this much knowledge and experience! Absolutely love watching your videos and learning from your wisdom. One suggestion: any chance you could post links to gear and lures you use in your videos right below so people could go and purchase some of the amazing rods & reels & lures that you so capably use (and perhaps you could get a cut of each sale from the manufacturer)? Would be win-win for everyone watching and for you making these gems.
You are putting canoes back on the map Once loved by all then almost long forgotten now put back on the map by the best of the best Roland Martin. Nice Really nice
This was an awesome video brother.. thank you for sharing.. me and my buddy are going out this weekend... 4-25 and 4-26 .. hopefully catch some good ones..
Sir, I really enjoyed your videos. By the way, Are you still have old tackles like fenwick lunkerstick and shakespeare president reel and Heddon lures? I know you have a lots of sponsors but I want to see and know your topwater experience with old tackle, too. Look forward to see from Japan. Thank you!
Thanks so much for these videos, Roland! My buddy, Mickey McClendon and I are going to Clarks Hill, Georgia, for 4 days of fishing this Sunday. Hope we can catch some big ones like you! I really look forward to your videos. Thanks again!!!
I always learn something from this Master. Teacher, you always seem so enthused about everything fishing. Sometime would you teach us what the different vegetations are named? And, stay in the canoe...gator bait.
Great videos with the canoe! I’ve noticed the last few canoe videos, the jar of peanut butter, I’m assuming that’s your lunch, or you holding out on a peanut butter scented lure secret, lol.
It would be great to eventually watch footage from Rolan's perspective. A chest mounted GoPro would do the trick. It would, however, have to be edited between the main camera's footage. It just would be great to see what Roland sees sometimes.
I'm all for doing everything we can to slow the spread but I'm also an older guy and in a perfect world I don't know how many times I'll get to go fishing but especially with this pandemic and now they're saying it could be worse when flu season hits. You load the boat at home, drive to a remote area fish surrounded by nature and sunshine...how is that going to spread the virus? In fact it's better because if you give guys an excuse not to go to work but they are allowed to go fishing we can keep this up forever.
Great Video Sir...We have been catching some good fish lately...Please take a look at some of my recent videos...A comment from you would be epic...stay safe
I am so glad UA-cam has given a new forum to guys like Roland whom I have watched since I was a kid!
Roland explains everything he does like a dad or grandpa does to his son, and its really adorable

Nothing beats top water action and I haven't seen a fish that can't resist frogs
I think ALL wives encourage their husbands to get out and away from everybody. Especially them. LOL
Ja, ja, ja
Frog time! So awesome!!
Not to age either of us but started watching you in the 80's still a fan

I bought the Johnny Morris because you and Edwin Evers were using it.
Great videos with the canoe! I’ve noticed the last few canoe videos, the jar of peanut butter, I’m assuming that’s your lunch, or you holding out on a peanut butter scented lure secret, lol.
😆 Rolands PB and Bass sandwiches
I love peanut butter
Roland outfished my best day ever.
In a canoe.
I always wonder how the camera man can just sit there and watch you fish. That would drive me nuts haha
Goat!!!
Having fun!

Where do you buy that buzz frog?????
Is the Favorite Emperor your best/favorite rod?
Yes
Glad to see you healthy and tearin' up the bass Roland. Do you use a leader with braid?
I do in very clear water
Do you like the solis better than the Johnny Morris platinum reel?
Both are great
I’m worried about you losing an arm release of those bass like that over the side of the canoe with them gators out there…😳
Aye aye captain!

I’m gonna fish where he’s fishing like damn
Does anyone know which brand hard tail grub bait Roland is using in this video?
4.5" Heart tail by Yamamoto
What kind of swimbait?
The heart tail by Yamamoto is pretty good
What kind of a frog is that white on that the alligator was chasing?
I call it a buzz frog. It's a reckless or something like that!
anyone can tell me where is the location?
Sometimes I'm told of good places to fish with the stipulation that I won't divulge its location!
6 foot canoe. 😉
That's all you need.

Our state has completely closed our lakes. A whole lot more socialist that Gov Desantis though. So I have to watch you and others go fish.
