a vocal coach said jin can hit high notes in female range which means really high notes while still in their mix voice [ which is a mix between chest and head voice], most men, when aim for high notes, they either flip to head voice or falsetto, Jin hits those insanely high notes while still in his mix which is AMAZING .

Yes he has great control in his mix and he is chestier and twangier than the other members which gives a very strong vocal color. Maybe that's why he's said to be a silver vocalist :))

Our silver voice Kim Seokjin. My absolute favourite vocalist in the whole industry. He has the most beautiful tone and can make you feel all sorts of emotions. One of the most stable members live.
I really hate this nickname"silver voice"it is like jin 's voice isn't the best or others have voice more beautiful than him I know that you don't mean that he isn't good enough but I really hate this for me all the vocal line is perfect and has golden voice no one of them is silver(sorry for my broken English)

Sadly people use to say he was the weakest because he had no training before being signed to BigHit so he really needed to train his voice.. but really there are NO weak members in BTS they are all amazing singers, producers/songwriters rappers and dancers and all around beautiful people

I am the same age as Jin and use to love to sing. But the fact that I wasn't good enough stopped me from trying to improve myself or even continue singing. But looking at Jin, I feel like he is just fulfilling everything people said he couldn't do, everything I said I couldn't do. I know how difficult it is to push your voice further over the edge and what more for a guy who said he couldn't sing. That is what makes me love and appreciate this guy so much.
His voice amaze me at every performance and he just blast stereotypes away with his notes.
Jin could sing an entire telephone book and I would totally buy it and love it. Like you said, his voice is powerful. but I think his voice is also so full of emotions it can make you laugh, cry, dream and swoon in an instant

Be honest, my bias is Tae, but I´m still amazed by Jin´s beautiful vocals. He is growing on me so much, especially in Japanese songs.
I have a cousin who is just 13. She loves the maknae line and said she didn't like Jin. I asked her if she had listened to his songs and she said no. I dont blame her. He does not get enough lines. So I made her listen to Crystal Snow and his triple high note and she was stunned, to say the least.
Jin is the reason I started working out, being positive and stopped hoping for a thigh gap I can never have.
Jins voice is just insane and unique. He doesn't need autotune nor do jimin,V and jk. The whole vocal line is just impressive and beautiful so is the rap line, no body can say they don't deserve to be loved. I get it, not everyone has to love bts but there are some armys which say jin is not good enough or hobi is ugly leave them alone hobi is beautiful like look at his perfection, jin is such laughmashine just like hobi.
