    Tolu, I can never thank you enough for your content. I can almost cry that this channel is not 100,000 by now, despite the great work you have been putting in.
    I passed through the *Kamba* border (Kebbi) severally, starting from 1987. As you noted, they leave a large seemingly no man’s land between the Nigerian border post in *Kamba* and Niger immigration and customs in *Sabon Birni*, about 3 km or thereabout.
    The *Kamba* border in Kebbi is a unique area of Nigeria because it is a tri-junction of Nigeria, Niger and Benin. Another 5-7 Km after the *Sabon-Birni* border post (Niger), you will exit Niger at *Gaya* border post, go through another 2km of seemingly no man’s land (but really part of Niger) to get to Benin border post on a Bridge over River Niger in *Malanville*, and *Malanville* popular Market (Benin) is about 2 km south on same road - there you will see many Yorubas in the Market, to confirm your arrival in Benin. Technically, Malanville is in Borgu, because Borgu people occupy Northern Benin.
    Fun fact: Before 1987, I had always thought that Nigeria western border was always Benin republic. Therefore when I went through Kamba border in 1987, I thought I was going into Benin, but I didn’t even know that we were in Niger until we signed out of Niger about 20 mins later in *Gaya*, and got to *Malanville* River Niger border post in Benin about 5 mins later. *Notice that I went through 3 countries (Nigeria, Niger, Benin) in 25-30 mins.* NW Nigeria essentially has no border with Benin. NW is surrounded in both North and West by Niger Republic with a border length of 1100 km, hence the life of the NW revolves around Niger. NW has a narrow border, about 50-60 km with Benin in Kebbi, below River Niger. Hausas essentially do not exist in Benin (about 1% population), compared to Niger where Hausa is the majority (about 51% population).

    Wow. Very shocking revelation. So porous a border. No wonder why it is extremely easy to smuggle things.in and.out from that end. Many years ago when my estate was robbed on a weekly basis and people confirmed that the armed robbers were from that side of Africa from the language they speak, now it is so clear now that it could be true as they easily just ride or stroll into Nigeria without any check or whatsoever. Thanks Mrs Nazal for this eye opening video. Sad.

    See how people full for Kebbi border town...but Niger border town looks empty.
    Are there no industrious persons that can build their business at the borders, to save transport cost for imported items.
    Are they mentally poor, Or is it a policy something?

    From history Niger 🇳🇪 and Northern Nigeria 🇳🇬 are the same it was divided by the British colonialist

  • @Enikemi123
    @Enikemi123 2 роки тому +3

    Northern Nigeria should be a country of its own or should merge with Niger Republic where they originally belong. We have no business sharing the same country with these lot. We are not the same people, our land geography/typography is different, our thinking and way of life is different. They are Sahelians, we are Bantu people. We where put together by the British and this unholy marriage must be annulled.

    Nigerian border officials are part of Nigerian problems, in less than a few minutes at that border bikes just strolling into Nigeria loading on Nigerian rice for easy Niger consumption.lt's no wonder Nigerians can't seems to find these locally produced, fresh rice, they are all going to Niger instead. Niger republic probably started from the mud road section, l don't see them constructing a road into Nigeria while their section is not tarred,they are smarter than that, unlike Nigerian government that is serving Niger really. I hope Nigeria replant neem/dongoyaro trees again due to it health benefits. Nice one! Thank you.

    Thanks very much for taking the risk to make this video. Your videos are very informative. And your channel is way better than our TV channels. I would nominate you the best female UA-camr in Nigeria. Customs and their immigration counterparts terrorise travellers in the south and west, while they watch terrorists and all sorts of criminals entering Nigeria through the northern borders. Anyway, now that I know the way to Niger Republic, I shall make my way there to retrieve the vehicles Buhari donated to them without our consent. Have a blessed day.

    Rice products that were subsidized with Nigeria’s fertilizer and seedlings moved to Niger just like that? Wahala?
    And Nigeria doesn’t have a proper border post to check migration? Whereas Niger has. Little wonder the easy smuggling of arms into the country. It’s sad.
