As a Chinese rpg player, I can confirm that this is one of the finest Chinese single rpgs out there. It’s not perfect, but it was made from love and dedication. Hopefully its beauty get to be kept during translation, and hope you folks can have as much fun as I had playing this game.

@@jackfavvv0280 Sorry I’ve never played Xanoblade before, can’t help you with that. Although if you are interested in ancient Chinese culture, you will like Sword and Fairy.

Back in my days, foreign games didn’t have any localization. Players learned what’s needed to enjoy the games.
@@roberttong8877 Well, back in my days gamepads only had two or three front buttons, so the games were simpler and easier to understand. Nowadays games are a lot more complex, so localizations for a majority of them are needed.

@@wtrsn Not exactly cause single-player games are way more cared for. The graphics are usually better, the animations, almost everything is better in most single-player games. There are a few exceptions like For Honor but to be honest that game would be even better if it was a single-player open-world RPG. So you see, Sword And Fairy does look nice but not enough for most single-player games. So yeah it kinda looks like an MMO that became a single-player RPG.

As a person with a PS5 (also still owning a PS4 Pro): if I have to be brutally honest with you: you're not missing out on much right now.

This game is available on both PS4 and PS5, so you're in luck there. If you're genuinely interested in getting a PS5, Amazon's PS5 listing has a request invitation button where you could get an email invitation to check out during a certain amount of time. Sony also has their sign ups through PlayStation Direct for PS5s, but they just give an earlier heads up of when their sites will have systems available, and you'll still have to go to the site at that exact time they say and go through a waiting room process.

Played on PC and loved it. Played on PS5 yesterday and I loved it more. Very nice port. I don't know the resolution but solid 60 FPS. For 40$ you have a better game compared to AAA 80$.

This is the localized version of Sword and Fairy 7 which came out in 2021. Look's interesting!
Steam already got English subtitles, I don't see anything more localized for PS4/5.

I’ve vaguely heard of the series from a random Chinese webnovel, so this piques my interest a little.
If you’re gonna want to get interest this game, I recommend you guys to watch Chinese Paladin. It’s the spin off of the series into a drama and will explain the world in it. Romance and action all out. If you’re like me, the prequel Chinese paladin 3 will surely get you. All in one check out the Chinese drama and listen to the music track.

I loved Sword and Fairy 7 on pc. And now it's officially coming to console. So I'll fall in love with it again. Weird they gave it an actual title and took the number away. We know which one it is lol.
I so wish I could play this on a Ps5 system, but Ps4 will have to do for now🙄. Luckily it can be upgraded when played on Ps5 once I get my hands on one😊
