I cancelled my '23 scatpack widebody order when I went to a dealership with a friend to pick up his hellcat and they had this 300c on the lot for sale. The guy who had ordered it backed out and they were offering MSRP no markup. Everything said in this video has matched my experience perfectly, especially how this vehicle CAN NOT make sharp turns on a damp street at all. But you can't help but fall in love with it. I got it in July and already have 7k miles on it. Driving it is just a pleasure and joy.
Back in the early 2000s there was/is a guy that owns a martini bar and owned a Chrysler 300 and on it he had a pinstripe that lead into a martini glass. So if not meth then I guess martinis work too.

Yuri is so right about the amount of tech in cars. It may sound ridiculous compared to real older cars but when you compare to modern even dailies. Some seat adjustment, heated seat and steering wheel, gauges with most important info and thicc analog speedo and tachometers. Ok some bluetooth is nice too but i wouldnt mind CD player for some rare occasions
My car being a 2011 strikes a nice balance. It has stuff like Bluetooth, aux port and heated seats, but the infotainment screen isn't some overbearing focal point with too much going on like many new cars.
@flurpoid i still feel that uConnent 4 was one of the best system. Has everything you need that you would actually use from time to time, nothing that's unnecessary.

My Jaguar XKR is 2014 and it's the same - all the modern amenities (backup camera and forward + back sensors, heated and cooled seats, Bluetooth audio and calls, auto-dimming mirrors inside and out (+heated outside), etc) and none of the bullshit driver nannies that don't work right. The only thing I wish it had is radar cruise control. My earlier XKR had that but apparently it was an option there after and no one ever ordered it 🤦♂️
I own one of these in Bright White. Absolutely ridiculous fun car. You did a little bit of comparison to the Charger Scat Pack (which has the same engine/trans), but there are a few additional things that the 300C has that you can't even get on the Charger Scat Pack. 300C has the full Laguna Leather seats, Scat Pack only comes in Nappa Leather/Alcantara as the top option. The 300C also has a full panoramic sunroof, not available on the 300C. And the final thing, equipping a Charger Scat Pack as close as you can to the 300C is a sticker price of $64K, $7K MORE than what the 300C stickers for. Some dealers who have the cars on the lot are asking a few grand over sticker, but I got mine for right at sticker price as have a bunch of the owners.
Love the Chrysler 300,I got my S model with the 5.7 Hemi V8.112,000 miles and it still rides like a dream. Everyone loves shitting on the Chrysler 300,while in the same breath lamenting how affordable V8 RWD sedans are impossible to find 🤦

I have a 2012 Chrysler 300C, but with the 5.7 hemi and AWD. The older ones also have the heated and cooled cupholders, which was the main selling point for me tbh. I've actually taken mine to autocross and winter (snow) ax events where it actually performed pretty decent. I would love to have this sleeper of a car but I'd have to pay more than twice what my current 300C cost lol. Great send off though, love to see it!
@@irtnyc there are many sleepers that have a loud exhaust. You don't really hear much till a sleeper rips away off the line or passes you. Most people aren't even aware these exist! Sleeper in my book but to each their own.

I so wish they made this with the 2015 facelift. A buddy of mine had a 2007 300 SRT8 and I really wanted the brute-in-a-suit combination. Eventually landed in a Charger Daytona 392, and loved it, but would have also liked the subtly of a 300 with the same power.
I drove the last version of this car, for daily and just for good old red light dash the car is very lovely, but when i took it to the B road at middle of the corner with middle to heavy throttle i felt the chassis has met it's limit, i lt almost felt the chassis is folded by the immense power from the engine Remember this chassis design is 20 years old, the designer wouldn't have imagined have to do with this number of horsepower.
I would 100 percent pick this over a Scatpack, the Charger looks slightly better but this is still a mean looking sedan, it is rarer, and I like its more "luxurious" take on the platform, I am a sucker for comfy sedans that happen to be quick.

I bought a 2006 300C SRT8 in late 05 and owned it for a little over 2 years when it was totalled off by a drunk who drove into it while it as parked. I was so pissed when that happen but I'm surprised it's 2023 and it's got a 6.4 instead of the 6.1 and it only has 485 from the 425 it had back then and a 5 spd auto compared to todays 8 spd trans. I would love to buy a OG 300 SRT and drop a C170 crate engine in it and lighten it up as much as possible.

Don't care how nice a car is cants stand a turn nob for the transmission.. I do like these drove a 14 y with awd and a v8 was nice and drove a 08 y in the winter here in Detroit with winter tires and thr traction control on and she did so good. All my cars are fwd but I was impressed
"bf goodrich gforce comp2 a/s plus 245/45/zr20" are the BEST TIRES for narrowbody scatpacks and chystlers with 245s. u can speed in the rain after u properly break them in. I use to race teslas and trucks in them because they thought I couldn't keep up, but id dust them. pretty good for winter too. the only downside is you have to replace them 2x a year if u speed a lot or doo burnouts, but they significantly improve the traction and handling. They also give you better 0-60s. 3.6 once & 3.8 five times. other than that 4.0 - 4.2 every time
I ordered two the night of the reveal. Once I knew my preferred dealer wasn’t going to try to mark up the car I cancelled the other one. Received it in June. The tires definitely suck and 275/40 Michelins or Contis are on the short list. Definitely not a boring car.

I own a 2008,300C station wagon (in Europe it's called 300C Touring) with a 3.0 Diesel and a 5 speed transmission. It's an absolute dream to drive and gets pretty good gas mileage (average of 7.5 liters for 100 km). I can get almost 1000 km out of one tank. 🎉 I really love this car although it has already 280.000 km on the clock it still runs strong doing 170 km/h with the cruise control (but the the gas mileage is a bit worse 😂) on the autobahn. Great car. I gonna keep mine forever but I wouldn't feel that lonely in the driveway if I'd buy a Hemi powered 300C as it's companion 😂.
That version of the SRT 300 may be a charger,but our 2013 300 SRT has nothing in common with a srt charger. My 0 to 60 with crappy Goodyear tires that were 9 years old,was 3.8 0 to 60. It is 180 mph governed. Can't wait to do another 0 to 60 with new tires. It has 3 modes and launch control. The launch control is tricky to find,and it has under 14000 miles. Ours was not made by the same company. Ours handles like it should not like that 300. That looks like driving a charger all over the street.
Yes, you absolutely need to get the V10 M5. You have to, because I have no choice but to live vicariously through you guys I would love to see it. I've always fantasized about getting one, but all the reliability issues scare me because I don't have UA-cam and Continental and TuxMat money backing me.
I rent this car with a V6. Going to ski up in the hills. Rear wheel drive only. So much pleasure and difficult also. One time i was obliged to u-turn hard because the hill wqs too 5%-7% . If i lost grip i was down.
Just put continental all seasons contact on my Hyundai i20N for winter. May or may not get snow in the UK and the Pirelli Pzero are rubbish in the cold
I have a 2012 300 srt8. The complaints are short. I wish it were a few hundred pounds lighter, and expect the carbon fiber trim to pop off and warp in six or seven years. That's it for complaints. This car is all about the engine and stance. Get a good set of summer performance tires and be prepared to store it for winter. Yes, this car is the automotive equivalent of Kiss still being on tour. Who cares. They both put on one hell of a show.

Just put continental all seasons contact on my Hyundai i20N for winter. May or may not get snow in the UK and the Pirelli Pzero are rubbish in the cold

I have a 2012 300 srt8. The complaints are short. I wish it were a few hundred pounds lighter, and expect the carbon fiber trim to pop off and warp in six or seven years. That's it for complaints. This car is all about the engine and stance.
Get a good set of summer performance tires and be prepared to store it for winter.
