Between this and Saturn Bomberman, Sega had the lock on killer Bomberman games that nobody ever played because they were released on dying consoles. This is no Saturn Bomberman, mind you, but nevertheless, it's still an excellent, surprisingly innovative game in Hudson's classic series.
Dreamcast was "dying" but that doesn't mean "nobody" played its games. When you talk about some of the biggest Dreamcast exclusive titles like Crazy Taxi, Virtua Tennis and Power Stone, pretty much anyone with a reputable gaming background played those on DC. Gaming wasn't always and isn't supposed to be some mass market phenomenon like the Marvel movies where everyone and their grandmom knows the title. That's part of why the gaming industry is garbage now
@@NintendoComplete You were correct on what you said and I couldn't have said it better myself. Do not pay any mind to anyone, they're just trying to challenge you because people always want to put in their opinions that for some reason has to be bias to what you say. Truth is Dreamcast was a dying console and only hardcore gamers or gamers with a passion for games knew about games like this. Ty is correct though when he said gaming isn't defined by some mass market phenomenon agenda, gaming is the culture of all games that have people like me, you and Ty who invest in gaming with money, time, memories and knowledge. We are the people who know about all the classics, slept on, horrible or overrated games. I bet if I were to mention a game like Kula World on the PS1 from 1998 at least a good 85% of people in this generation or a good 65% of people in the comment section wouldn't even know what I'm talking about.

this is one of the most underrated games i've ever played, and my introduction to Bomberman as a whole. you're doing the lord's work.
the most underrated console with a highly underrated game
The production values of that opening FMV are just absolutely insane! Saturn Bomberman’s were good too, but DAMN
Most old bomberman games are S tier

I wasn't being literal. I bought a copy of it when it was new and played it to death. (Not literally in this case, either)
Congrats your master Bomberman

It's hard to believe that this Bomberman game for the Dreamcast was only released in the USA and not in the PAL regions and not in Japan.
Almost as hard to believe as the fact that Act Zero actually exists (-_-;)
We Americans faced a situation like this with Bomberman DS 2, released in EU and JP but not NA.
