For her to assume that Jay was going to be exactly the same with Gloria shows how she didn't think people changed, grew, and matured. Cos she certainly hadn't. Yeah She was a narcissist. She not only compares herself to Gloria but she did that with Claire to her own daughter. I remember Claire once mentioned didi used to never any of her events because she didn't like claire was doing better and even dated her teen age boyfriend just for show. And even though she was the one who divorced jay to find herself she always makes scenes like jay divorce her to be with Gloria .

@oust Which is all the more scary cuz when Jay got a divorce from his ex wife, she took half of his money and he had to pay a bunch of alimony til she remarried. Jay married Gloria without a pre-nup.
My condolences to all the families that lost their loved ones. Its sad to lose any of my comrades during conflict. One thing will never be forgotten. They lost their lives serving their country and helping others that that really need it. A salute to all three of my comrades one last time. I really hate that Jay and Gloria have to explain themselves to DeDe, it’s there life she should just leave them alone with it because she is the one when left and decided she didn’t want to be married to Jay, But I am glad they were able to see eye to eye in this episode
actually she was not dumped for Gloria, she left Jay before. She was tired and Jay was not the best of father and husband, Gloria had nothing to do with their breakup, Jay just moved on really easily
