    Another good review guys. As you know I love our Buccaneer Barracuda especially as it comes with all those accessories you normally have to buy later.

    Great review of a superb caravan. I made it “Trev’s choice” at the show last month. We owned a 2012 Buccaneer for 3 years and it was a beauty. If I go back to caravanning, this van would be my first choice despite the hefty price tag. Thanks for another fab presentation 👍🏻😄 Trev

    If you decide to go for the self levelling, I can highly recommend SAP at Doncaster. They fitted E&P to our Elegance at the beginning of the year 👌

    Great review guys , recently picked up our 2019 Barracuda and i can say from the limited use we have had the self leveling system is excellent. As you quite rightly pointed out getting the two wheel locks on is a doddle. keep em coming.

    Hello Karina
    An all round fair assessment
    The only Caravan that competes would be the Coachman Laser 675 if you put the self-levelling system on it would be the same price
    The winner for me would be the Buccaneer with its width
    At night you may need to go to the Loo this is where the width comes into it when the bed is at its maximum length you can get around the bed with ease
    I applaud you again for your honesty of your work

    I love those, but I must say I like the fridge/freezer too. I kept saying to the campervan/narrowboat people that a freezer would be worth the energy cost simply because you do not have to go looking for shops so often.
    And anyway, on the rare occasions when my Yorkshire puds rise I darn well want to preserve a few so I can prove it to people.

    Another great review Karina. As ever, your presenting skills would put some so-called "professionals" to shame. You deserve more subs. What happened to the audio when you were reviewing the bathroom?

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  5 років тому

      Thanks David, as for the bathroom this was a voice over it went from stereo to mono so if you only listen to the left or right channel then it wouldn’t work. We have rectified this for future work as someone else did mention it to us. Thanks for letting us know. 👍👍👍

    Good looking caravan
    Do you no what the floor construction is made from.
    No good paying all that money out if the floor will rot away like the Bailey Caravans?
    The floor is the first thing to deteriorate.

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  5 років тому

      Hi Neil, I’m not 100% sure I have checked the spec sheet and it talks about the SoLiD construction which is a fully bonded structure. If you wanted more technical details it may be best to speak to one of the Elddis dealers. The internal floor is one piece as far as I know. Thank you for watching 👍

    Always enjoy your reviews guys, thank you! And the Buccaneer is a great looking ‘van!
    Is it just me or did it go soundless in the toilet area? I only had white noise... 🤔 💚 🐍

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  5 років тому +1

      Hi Venomator, always enjoy your comments, thanks for the heads up. Think the washroom audio is not in stereo as it was recorded afterwards so that may be the cause. I will take this on board as you have been the first to mention it. 👍

      Here we Tow - Aww, thank you for that, made me smile! 😊
      Yep, just bunged my other ear in and, you’re right, left channel only! Didn’t think of that tbh, as I generally only plug my right ear in, so I can hear the TV, or SWMBO (if I am so inclined!)... 😂 👍🏻 🐍

    Nice van indeed me and the misses bought our first new van in Dec 2018 costing 19 grand I couldn't justify spending 30+ grand on a van very smart though.👍

    I notice that the word barbeque means something very different is the southeast United states. What you call barbeque we would call grilling. Which is cooking quickly over a fire, be it wood or gas. Barbeque is slow smoking meat using hardwood smoke. Even the other parts of the united states, they call grilling barbeque.

    • @jimbo5635
      @jimbo5635 5 років тому

      Guessing in most of the English speaking parts of the world, barbeque just means cooking outside over some sort of fire.

    • @jimbo5635
      @jimbo5635 5 років тому

      The word buccaneer comes from the word barbeque. Buccaneer is a person that barbeques. Slang of course for Pirates, who cooked the wild pigs in the Caribbean over open fires.

    The nails dear god the nails they make me squirm (sorry) great review.
    Also stating the obvious like saying "here we are in the kitchen" when your standing by the cooker does my nut!! "lets look at the front of the caravan"....... "here we are at the front of the caravan" ahhh 🤦‍♀️ LOL Im being harsh, so sorry but thank you for this review as this seems to be the only upto date review of this van and a great one it is to (the van and the review)...!! hoping to buy one in the near future...

    As a Continental European, I must comment on you Brits in general's rarities: what is up with the three window fronts? It looks like 💩. Sorry. And your two opposing sofas with a trunk in the middle? Please check the blessings of C and G sitting groups. And microwaves only steal cabinet space. That's all. 😉

    • @Caravanningwiththehoopers
      @Caravanningwiththehoopers 5 років тому +2

      Kjell Kristian Kvinge there’s many benifits to 3x windows at the front, firstly it lets in a lot of natural light, secondly if a stone flicks up and damages the window it’s much cheaper to replace a single small window rather than a full length one, you typically only see a big full window on a bottom of the range van like an Elddis Xplore, regarding the centre chest, this is removable and a extra cushion fits in to make it a U shape sofa should we wish however it’s not a very popular option as us brits prefer the chest, we also want full cooking options, a van without a microwave or full cooker simply will not sell well in the uk

    • @aNorwegianGuy
      @aNorwegianGuy 5 років тому

      I don't think fearing chipping the front window is rational. It's too high up to receive a stone from your tires. The stone has to come from afront, over your car. The odds are minimal. I guess it's all about habits and custom 😊. It's expensive for European manufacturers to enter your market, doors on the wrong side and odd front window and interior setup compared to our markets. But you have a load of domestic manufacturers so I guess you'll manage anyway 😉

    • @Caravanningwiththehoopers
      @Caravanningwiththehoopers 5 років тому

      Kjell Kristian Kvinge believe me it does happen more often than you think, Adria have got the uk market right by designing and building vans specially for the uk at an a very good price, they are becoming more and more popular by the day, we also have Hobby, Knaus, Tabbert and Hymer, as you say though it’s difficult for these guys, Knaus tried a uk specific designed van and it still hasn’t sold many, there are a few other problems with these vans, they are very expensive and the level of equipment 9 times out of 10 just can’t compete with the uk built vans, very few insurance companies will insure imported vans, we have a massive problem in the uk with caravans being stolen particularly continental vans which lack security as standard, there is also a big stereotype with the type of owners (gypsies). These things alone deter many uk buyers away, Adria seems though an exception so it is possible but us brits are difficult to please and certainly stuck in our own ways 😂
