Watching Laith play this is fascinating. He had some unconventional plays that actually work out.
Laith, my little son, as someone who has 1k hours in hoi4 I did not learn until too late that if you hold shift while making a field marshal frontline, it makes all the armies disperse equally, so if you had like an army of 12 it wouldn’t be lopsided, love you pookie bear

Idk if you took it but there’s an absolutely insane buff to non core manpower in the military focuses called “conscript the conquered peoples” which is so good that I managed to get like eighty million manpower after conquering China.

There is so much crazy stuff you can do in Kaiserredux, dont even know where to start, all of the american factions have something fun to do, even if you avoid the civil war
14:50 I recommend the Autobahn nach 56 redux submod, it pretty much adds the road to 56 tech tree to Kaiserredux and most importantly, the asymmetrical warfare doctrine tree which gives boni to milita and cavalry!
Kaiserdux is a very silly mod, but leads to some fun gimmic playthroughs. I don't play it much, but it's worth a look now and then

The weird Belarus thing: you had military access from them. If you have military access to another country, you automatically return their cores to them.
Also, when you conquer territory, the province goes to the country of the province you moved in from, so once you'd gone through Belarus, you kept handing everything to them. Because they weren't at war with (e.g.) Poland, they'd then hand it back to Poland.
The solution would be to back completely out of their territory, then let the Germans take it, then end your military access to Belarus. Now, when you conquer it, it stays yours and when it asks you to return it to Belarus (because you're still not at war with them), you just say no.

I played that one before, the cavalry focuses that Ungern-Sternberg has are rudiculous, but extremely fun. And he even upgrades his wardrobe to be badass. Love the little russian psychopath. 😄
Also, we are getting on a Mongolia streak, first EU4 and now even Hoi4. Lets see what else we can get. 😄
