So my Christmas didn't exactly go to plan. I haul bread for Bimbo bakeries and I went on my normal route from S.E. Wisconsin to Cedar Rapids Iowa. A very bad winter storm went through the region with which brought negative Fahrenheit temps and wind chills down to minus 30⁰. As well as blizzard conditions. I made it to within 20 minutes of Cedar Rapids and my semi truck broke down. No service was available to come help. I sat in my truck for several hours while my company's management worked on a fix. I had to get an Uber to a hotel and spend Christmas eve trying to get home for Christmas. I had to hitch a ride with a truck from a different company that was going back to Wisconsin and my wife had to drive an hour to pick me up. I'm very thankful that God found a place for me to stay and an angel of an Uber driver willing to pick me up. And then another driver to take me home. Love your content and brilliant edits! I'm a dog guy and love your new edition🧡

I live in Australia so it’s the middle of summer here and I went over to England at the start of December and stayed for the whole month to have Christmas with my family in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds. It was the first ever Christmas I have ever had in England and it did not disappoint. We spent it in my Uncles pub with the whole family and it was such good fun. He has also done ultra running and just loves to run in general so it was nice to go for a run with him through the Cotswolds. I also went to Zermatt in Switzerland for a week skiing which was unbelievable. I had never skied apart from in Australia which may seem odd as it is so hot here. However there is snow but the mountains in Australia are half the height compared to the top of Zermatt. Overall it was an amazing trip and as I am 16 maybe one of the last overseas trips I will ever do with my family. I have already planned my gap year though which will be spent in the UK as well as a month or two training in Lanzarote hoping to see Team Charles Barclay. My English is terrible so this is all stuffed up probably but thank you for the amazing content you guys and Holly create. Keep it up!
Pickle is totally adorable 😍 my favorite thing I did over the holidays was a 24 miles in 24 hours challenge with one of my friends. We ran one mile each hour for 24 hours, and in between we rested, ate yummy food, watched tv, baked cookies, did some swimming or walking and generally had fun. It was such a fun thing to do, and while the runs were quite short, by the 24th one we were exhausted and in need of a long sleep. Definitely recommend!!
Pickle is so sweet! Didn’t realize he was a mini Doverman. As for off season.. I did two Santa 5k races that I have participated in for the last 15 years. It’s a special race becuz my mom&dad normally join me and walk the distance, and I run back to them and we finish as a family! My parents are runners but the Santa race is something we can do together!
I also completed 100 x 100! My yearly tradition as well! Cheers!
My favourite off-season activity was F45. I love using loads of different equipment and doing a variety of movements. It feels like playtime!
I moved to the UK! I packed up all my stuff and moved to London over the holiday season, and am loving it here so far! Spending the next year living abroad and I can't wait!
Best of Christmas vacation was seeing the in laws and taking my oldest 2 kids and 5 of their cousins skiing in Alberta!
My favourite thing that I did over the christmas was watching Team Charles-Barclay videos! LOL
My favorite activity over the break was waking up early on Christmas and not having to swim or bike to get first to the Christmas tree
Favourite thing to do this Christmas was heading back to my parents and having my Dad join me on my cycle rides! :)

I finally purchased a new bike, and redid my "paincave". Managed to get a zwift cycling setup in my 45m2 appartment which I really love. And after a hard year of mental health issues, and injuries, I took quite a break to reset, and start all over for season 2024, slowly buiding up from OD to my first IM70.3.
I've had a difficult holiday season (mom in the hospital, unveiling more and more stomach issues, getting a cyst on my back removed) and most of all, we found out our dog, Nellie, has end-stage cancer. In an effort to ensure the best diet for Nellie, I started making everything for her from scratch, my favorite thing to do now-a-days! I made her pancakes, ice cream, homemade tortillas, parfaits, and so much more! Everything is fresh and healthy... and believe it or not, she is still with us over a month later! The Dr's didn't think she'd make it past the weekend! She has energy and all the love to give still, she gets excited to find out what's for dinner and I love coming up with new ideas to make for her 🖤x I feel grateful for each day more with her! Welcome home Pickle!!
Love the video. Pickles is a cutie. I volunteered for the volcano triathlon when I was staying there once back in 1993 and it’s still going strong.
My favorite thing to do this offseason was skiing, my family skiied in west virginia and then to wrap up the offseason we skiied in steamboat springs colorado, a great offseason and I can't wait to see what my second year of triathlon brings, just loving the sport and have many years ahead! Great narrating reece and pickle is adorable!
My favourite thing I did over the holidays is a tie between doing 100x100 for the very first time and getting out on my cross-country skis for the first time this winter. I take Jan to Apr off from swimming, to put more time into skiing. So the 100x100 on Dec 30 was a great send-off to the swim season and that first time out skiing on the trails is always magical ✨❄
Favorite off-season activity this year has been skiing/snowboarding in the Rockies. At altitude and still getting a bit of a workout and having a great time while doing it.
My favorite thing that I did was complete my second marathon and PR by 35 minutes!! My whole family came out to support which was really nice and we had a massive pancake breakfast afterwards
My favorite Christmas break memory was skiing with my family in New Hampshire!
My favourite thing over my Christmas off season was a night fat bike ride in ugly Christmas sweaters. It was an absolute blast and ended it with hot chocolate and lots of laughs!!!
My favorite thing that I did over the off season was going to the beach and also doing a 5k PB

My favorite thing over the holiday break was getting things organized and cleaned up around my house and in my digital space as well. It makes me feel so much better now!
I'm new to triathlon, so this holiday I did a lot of training. I have a lot to learn, so I'm excited for every session. I finally swam continuously without stopping. I'm so proud of myself!
My favorite thing was signing up for my FIRST Triathlon!! Also subscribing to the channel was a close second!
I was working hard for a 21k in march , got myself injured 😢😔😢 now taking care of myself to proper recover, taking patience example from you, and how good you did after your recovery was completed for inspiration .
Over Christmas I was recovering from surgery so my favourite thing to do over Christmas was that first walk outside where I finally felt more like myself... An absolute dream!
My partner and I actually were ill on Christmas so we spent time together, watched lots of movies and hung out. It wasn't anything spectacular but despite being sick it was a lovely couple of days :)
My biggest achievement during this holiday season was being the only one in my triathlon club, NorthEast MultiSport to complete the trifecta of crazy winter challenges. The 4x4x48 run, 100 x 100 swim, and Everesting on Zwift. I began my triathlon journey only one year ago, and didn't know how to swim or bike! Thanks for being a huge inspiration! ❤
My fav activity off-season was doing some fun running drills in the snow on a heli-pad whilst on a ski holiday in Val d’Isere 🏃🏻♀️☃️. Ski-Snow-Run!! ✅✅
My favorite part of the beak was all of the cross-country skiing I got to do!
Recovered from a post season injury to finally conquer alp de zwift for the first time! Also joining my local parkrun has been cold but incredible
My favorite thing so far this winter has been Christmas with our two year old. He loved the music and food and seeing family and, of course, opening presents. Congrats on your sweet puppy.

My favorite thing I did was got to see my daughter who lives in the US and took her to London and to a Christmas market in Birmingham
My favorite thing over the Christmas break was going bier tasting in Belgium with my adult kiddos. Who knew it was so good and so fun?! Then, for inspiration we went to a cyclocross race and managed to not lose a shoe is the amazing mud. Cheers!
Favourite thing was real time for family and friends, and of course the superb feeling of eating everything under the sun and not feeling guilty! Mince pies were my fav!
My husband & I (and our rescue dog Gipper) are now traveling the USA full time in our 5th wheel. Over Christmas break, we were in Comstock, TX and we did a lot of hiking in the Seminole Canyon State Park. Saw some amazing pictographs, javelinas & beautiful sunsets. Hooray for Pickle! Can't wait for him to be added to the intro video.
I went away on holiday and got the running bug back after a couple of quiet months. I had roads, trails and hills and after a week of running I was hooked again 😁
I shoveled a lot of snow with my three year old grandson in Denver. I think I shoveled twice as much as I neede to. He didn’t quite get the hang of pushing the snow off the drive. So weight training and cardio at the same time. ( wish I could share the video of this event. It was quite fun to watch this little man helping out)
Absolutely love to spend more time with friends and to go snowboarding 🏂
Although I had a great time with family over Christmas, one of the best things was a wellness day during the Christmas break switching between an ice bath and the sauna!
My favourite activity over Christmas was a New Year’s Day ‘swim’ at Polzeath beach in Cornwall 🤩 Chilly but the most refreshing was to start the year (and cure the hangover)!

My favorite thing that I did over the holidays wasn't anything triathlon related at all. My fiance's sister threw us a bridal shower to celebrate our engagement. Just spending time with family and not worrying how healthy to eat or if I need to get training in was fantastic. That was probably my favorite off season/ holidays so far.
Over the holidays, I committed to my first triathlon summer 2023! Made a plan, found a pool for the winter, and found inspiration like YOU! Adore your videos!

I went home for Christmas to my family and we did a family mountainbike ride which we do every year :DD Really nice to see de family and do active stuff together after I did say them for half a year because im studying abroad :)
what a gorgeous dog pickle and a good addition to the family, for me being its just the start of my season being in New Zealand so I'm still in training. I'm doing my first xterra event in February but during a training ride on the mountain bike I've had a crashed and tore my MCL and cracked my knee so I don't think I will be on the start line now. I'm now just doing loads of lake swims
my favourite thing to do this last season was really not to check too much on calories to be honest. I just enjoyed staying at home with my family, doing my 1 hour cycling on strava every morning, and watched sports on TV. That's all and it was amazing. Now back in everyday training mode and so far i lost 4% bodyfat, almost 5 kg and i am happy as ever :-)
My Favourite Thing was doing a Mini Version of your 100x100. So I did 50x100 and it was amazing.

One of my favorite things this holiday was doing a team Duathlon challenge with my family in St Francis, South Africa. The duathlon had me thinking of triathlon and now I’m training to hopefully do my first Ironman 70.3 in November this year! Can’t wait!

best thing over the winter holiday: went for a run in -5 (feels like -29)ºF weather (-20/-33ºC) and both me and my sibling were just covered in ice in the end.

My favourite thing I did this break was to run on New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day..finishing & starting the year strong felt so good & may be a new tradition for me!!!
We went to Tenerife for Christmas this year and I would be lying if I didn’t say I had my face pressed to the window the whole time we were over Lanzarote to try and see Club La Santa from the plane 😅 but as far as _favourite_ things goes, I would have to say joining the triathlon Bundesliga team at my sports club!
My favorite thing over the holiday break--foremost--was spending time with my wife as we both had the full week off between the holidays. Here in the midwest USA, it was frigidly cold, so there were a few consecutive days when we didn't leave the house...mostly the two of us and Elvis the dog. We both did complete the Festive 500 via Zwift...so, it wasn't all jigsaw puzzles and holiday goodies. Elvis says hello to Lola and Pickles! Ciao!
Off season = drank and ate hunners....signed up for IM Wales(first full distance)😱.ran a marathon on xmas eve and swam in the river Clyde (5°)...bring it on👌👌👌

I always loved doing the 100 × 100s with my high-school swim team. We picked each set of ten out of a hat as a team to mix it up.
My favorite thing was to pick out my new and favorite Sphinx hairless cat from a breeder. Her name is Peanut and she is now 12 weeks old. 💕
I loved being able to recover from my knee surgery over the holidays and start to train again. I went for my first swim at Christmas, my first (little) bike ride a few days later and I started running on New Years day. I loved the milestones ;))) Thank you so much for the motivation and inspiration. I love you guys

Pickle is adorable! Loved this video from you guys! My favourite thing from over the off season was traveling to Denmark and doing some beach / forest exploration by bike. Only saw 1 car, which was amazing in comparison to London traffic.

My favorite off-season activity was gaining weight at the Christmas diner table. I was on the verge of overtraining, due to RED-S. Now That I am fuelled up again and I have a better understanding of nutrition, I am able to hit the next season in a stronger form than ever (hopefully).
Had so much fun doing the Rapha festive 500 ❤️❤️! And now I want a dog even more 😂.

My favorite thing I did over break was getting to try Zwift for the first time. Someone I knew got a smart trainer for Christmas and they let me ride for a bit. I didn’t want to get off haha. Love the videos! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas break!
My favorite thing (very odd for some) was learning Spanish! I just moved to Alabama for college and being in the south with a big Mexican population, and also having 2 Spanish teammates, I wanted to be able to respect them a bit more and learn some of their language so I can have basic conversations! I was literally starting from scratch but really enjoyed it! It was also a great way to keep me occupied when I needed to rest and sit down, whilst keeping my mind busy! Can really recommend for all athletes wanting a “rest” activity - after all if you want to travel and race abroad, a new language could be very handy!!!! Absolutely love pickle and so excited for Lola to have a new friend!! I’m interested to know who would win in a race!!!

Best off season activity was a ParkRun in Hoedspruit, one of the hottest areas of South Africa bordering on the Kruger Park! It’s basically a trail run through the bush ❤😅
Pickle is mega cute. Off season was epic this year. I just chilled and enjoyed not training for another Ironman 🤣
My favourite thing I did over Christmas was really getting into Zwift, I’ve only ever done the odd route on it, but I’ve done either a workout or race almost every day! As well as an FTP test! I also did the usual New Year’s sea dip. 🥶And started the year off with doing some dog agility practice in preparation for Crufts this year! And of course studying for my exams this year too 🥱
Best thing I did was my first half marathon and to convince my sister that triathlon actually is fun.
This off season on christmast i flew to Finnland, and tried to catch the auroras for about 4 days and 3 night, but i was so unlucky and didnt have the chance to see the auroras, but still enjoying the vacation with a bit of fat bike ride in the snow, husky sleigh, snow mobile and lots of sauna of course ✌hopefully this time im lucky enough to win the goodie bag 🤞

My favourite thing in the off-season was to do an extra long Zwift ride for fun just to complete one of the challenging routes.
My favorite thing I did over the holidays was a trip to Orlando, FL to watch my son march with the Purdue All American Marching Band in the Citrus Bowl! It wasn’t exactly a great game/outcome for the football team. But the band did great!
