Ich habe das Auto gestern beim Peugeot Autohändler bestellt, um genau zu sein den Hybrid 136 GT in Agueda Gelb :D Ich werde das Auto dann 2 Jahre im Leasing fahren, bin mega glücklich. Jetzt muss ich nur noch 3 Monate warten, bis das Auto geliefert wird 😅

Hey Dan, at 38:30 you asked if anybody knows, why there is a Autohold function in the assist-drivemode, but not manually. I think it could be, because it seems that Peugeot tries to develop further into autonomous driving. (less functions for the driver, more functions taken over by the car). I hope that you understood what I meant by this :)

Will you be uploading a video of the 136 hp version in which you can report on the driving behavior? I haven't actually driven it yet. So far there are almost exclusively videos of the 100 hp Peugeot 208.

what about the position of the driver's monitor? is it visible from above the steering wheel? Cause I heart many complaints for that. and how tall are you?
I recently saw it for a possible purchase, I assure you that the driving position is strange. It's not visible at least from my point of view, I'm 1.75m tall
I've driven the active version with the analogue dash. It hides the dash a little bit on the far down side but if you put the steering wheel little bit down it's okay. For me I've found the perfect position and I see everything and I'm comfortable. You should go to a dealer and check it by yourself
@@TechnoMAGOI am actually 1,75cm tall also, and had no problem with the visibility. I adjusted the seat, steering wheel, and had perfect visibility. It may just take some time until you adjust it well.
@@sidistone1864 Yes, I am aware that with some forethought the problem can be solved, but the car was not designed to do so, resulting in an unusual and out of the ordinary driving position. I opted for the Opel Mokka 1.2 136 HP and I'm very happy with it. Credit goes to Peugeot for the design of these years but for the driving position I PERSONALLY prefer something else
How are the feel, consumption, features, overall experience compared to the Yaris Hybrid 2024? Is the dual clutch better than Toyota's CVT when overtaking and in terms of noise?
Way better. The 208 feels (and is) way faster and less loud

When it comes to the mild hybrid, no one talks about air conditioning and heating while driving on electricity and gasoline, when switching from one to the other. With the Toyota hybrid, it was solved perfectly, but I heard that with the Suzuki (Vitara hybrid), the air conditioning turns on and off when switching, and the same thing with the heating. No one mentions it, not even in the Suzuki tests. It's a big deal, but no one talks about it or tests it. Does this happen on other cars that are mild hybrids including the test Peugeot?

@@asthalis they have known engine issues for puretech 1.2. Belt issues, excessive oil consumption, engine noise, ignition coil problems. Ofc, not all of them, but doesn't quite scream confidence, does it?

I've read all of this, too. But :
- I have been using such a PureTech on my 208 mk I for 9 years : great ride, low fuel consumption, no oil issues, not so noisy (I like the way it sounds) and zero problem from day one
- the PureTech of the Hybrid version has been partially redesigned (chain instead of a belt, new turbo and other components modified) so no-one can tell about its long-term reliability for the time being
I also bet you've never driven a car with this engine, nor with the first version. So, in a word, you don't know what you're talking about.

I may have been lucky but you did not answer my first question : have you already tried it to say this ? Probably not. And as it seems you can't read properly, the hybrid version has a modified version of this engine so, as it is quite new, nobody (me included) can be objective about it yet, only time will tell us. But it's so easier to tell it's shit in the first place without even having a clue... I could say the same about the Renault 1.2 TCe, but I've never tried it, so I won't. So long...
