Man I learned 180's last season this season I'm doing 360's then soon backflips. I can do flips easily on trampoline and I haven't tried ground yet, but once I do it's going straight to skis.
is it the same as blades? this is my first time seeing skiing. why do they cross those things together when they jump? its a pain to go up there and feels unnecessary when you can just find a hill.
this looks fun i am guna have to try it after a few lessons , am hoping i should pick it up fast because i used to skate as a kid and i cant still do 720s and big grinds on skates i had a go on a friends pair of skates not too long ago and its like ridding a bike was a bit rusty but still had skills , am i mad for thinking i can pick up skiing quick and transfer the skills and tricks i already have ;O ?

Basic technics can be important, but it's all about going outside your comfort zone. Try the tricks in that you have in mind and don't ever think about failing the landing etc. Just try, have no fear
Dont be afraid to fall. Dont be afraid to crash on a rock or a tree At first its gonna hurt but you're gonna learn and then u can do it. Also get short poles long poles arent good for freestyling, they'll get in your way

no you misunderstood me, I'm 15 and have been skiing all my life and i think freestyle and skiing in general is an amazingly fun and gnarly sport. i was quoting other closed minded people which I've heard say that but you know theres always a youtube video to prove them wrong.
