This might be a 7 out of 10 in the grand scheme of all games, but it’s a 10 for me when it comes to fast fun laugh out loud, push your luck, easy to teach filler games. So fun!!!!!!
Burt made me laugh out loud 😆
Same
just got the game and played 3 times! The dice are really nicely done with uneven black dots- very cute! game comes in a nicely packed box and has some strategy :)
I got it on Friday and I've already played it several times. It's a really fun and addictive game with a great theme.
Bought this game to play solo. Really enjoying it. 😊 the quality is very good. And the artwork makes me smile.😊 Great review by the way. I have the second edition I believe. (The box has more dogs on the front) the solo rules are in the box 😊 and it play well against the AI opponent.
Thanks for the review, the game would not have been on my radar otherwise. And is it just me, or is the camera glitching out a bit during the overview?
I love sharing this guy with my family and friends and associate please continue sharing your top games. Thank you.
Great review, added to my wishlist.
Reminds me quite a bit of Lucky Dogs, (which is co-op), but with added options.
Can’t wait to get my copy!
Tonga bonga in the background, love that game!
Just got mine from Amazon
I really like the theming of the game, however I have one question and I would appreciate if anyone can answer me. It seems that there is very little interaction between the players, each player is just trying to complete their dogs as quick as they can. The only way I can see interaction between the players is some specific card/trick effects or when you play a card so the next player can't play it.
My question is for anyone who played the game, did you notice this while playing the game? or did you feel that there is enough interaction between you and the other players and why? or you didn't care?
The interaction comes from taking tile actions they may want to take or hogging the treats for massive re-rolls. Sometimes a valuable (bonus treats) dog will come up next in the deck and you can snipe it and have 3-4 treats in one turn. Its all about limiting their options while you make aure to find time to push your own 6 dog set across the finish line first. Its a really fun balance.
All of what the previous poster said…plus the not-always-silent chant “Bury and bust!” whenever your opponents roll. 😂 (All in good fun, of course; not in a hurtful way.)
Tom, you have made a fan out of me!! I loved your review, you hooked me in with that intro, your voice is really pleasant, I can tell you truly have a love for games and your descriptions were honest, straightforward, but also well worded! Altogether you came across as warm and inviting. I am really confident my cousin and brother and I are gonna love this game! Cheers!!
Have fun with it!
This looks adorable!
I asked (and received) this game for Christmas. A good filler for casual gaming with one’s self or others. And unlike Art of War (another push your luck game with dice) it does not end with me screaming and pounding on the table when I bust. 😅
WHAT was happening with the camera? Good thing it wasn't a long video.
Who made this game? I can't find it online
CMYK is the publisher. The game will be available on their website starting Nov 15th.
@@jonperry The apparently humble Jon Perry (Air, Land & Sea), along with Alex Hague and Justin Vickers (Wavelength), designed this game!
Got mine from Amazon
