Defeating Dragon Quest: Infinity Strash Bosses Without Taking Damage

Here are all of the post game bosses in challenge mode fought with Dai. I cleared all boss fights without taking any damage and used two different builds focusing on guard breaks,meter gain, and staggers for the appropriate boss fights. The 1st build was a magic based build+Zap Strash combination and the 2nd build was aimed for high physical and high magic damage+dragon install mode buffs for insane damage with dragon crest and other attacks. The hardest bosses to beat for this challenge were Sovereign Rock,Flazzard #2,Mystvearn, and Hadlar #2. You have to dodge the minions while still keeping track of the main bosses which is very hectic to deal with. All of the other boss fights weren't too bad but the last 3 were a huge headache. Glad I was able to pull off the no damage run but it was looking pretty grim to pull it off for a minute. I plan to do challenge mode for Popp and the others but it won't be a no damage run.

Am I missing something? It only lets me play as dai in challenge mode. Do I have to beat all bosses with dai before I can play as other characters? I can’t find a answer anywhere

You can use the other chars in challenge mode, where it says "party members" hit the right trigger or left trigger(or whatever button it is on your console that swaps between chars) and you should swap to Popp or the others.
