People can say whatever they want regarding the other versions, but I still find the 2003 Foot Ninjas to be superior in every way. Best battle theme, the very BEST design, these ones actually seemed to pose a threat. And above all, just the fact that they actually felt like a clan of assassins in the middle of New York, and no matter where they were, how out of place they looked, they'd still hunt you down as long as Shredder demanded it, and anyone who watched the series knows how vicious they were.
The closest comparison to these them would probably be the foot in the 90's movies they were pretty threatening too. These ones though we're always way cooler

The main reason the 1987 cartoon used robots was so that Raph and Leo could use their weapons effectively without getting people concerned about the turtles actually KILLING people. Of course, the turtles from the 2003 show didn't really kill anyone either.

2003 literally had some theme songs that are like the biggest parts of my childhood. In terms of theme literally no cartoon even compares. The foot ninja theme.. the purple dragons.. and especially especially the elite guards and shredder's theme. That shit is just pure epic bro. Shredder's theme whenever he shows up or does something epic never fails to give me goosebumps.

I love how some foot ninja do some puns, or send back a joke to them, Three i remember was in Return To New York, Mikey got in a plataform and mocked the foot, just so a ninja popped up behind him, touching his shoulder and makin (hey... ehrm) amd kick Mikey outta the plataform, i laughed so hard in my first watch, it came as unexpected. Another was after The Gang War in NW, baxter sent a robot, and some foot ninja tried to pile him up and inmobilize a Metal Tentacle with tenfold his Strenght. The last one is my favorite so far in my watch (currently on S2-Ep. 18) Don tired spinning arround his own staff to take down some foot, just for them too fall back a few steps, stare at donny in a "You got the whole squad laughing rn" and punched him in a group, that one killed my of laughter.
I hope someday, with the help of neural networks, they will make a full-fledged soundtrack. Without extraneous sounds from the cartoon and transform the pieces into full-fledged long compositions. And all this will be in super quality. This no longer seems impossible.
I loved lot of the music from 2003 version of tmnt, I also enjoyed the look of the foot in 2003 version compared to the 2012 version. Loved that foot clan was both crime syndicate backed up by multibillion dollar corporation. Though thought was careless the symbol of both were same and thought that drew too much attention if crime organization had same symbols well respected corporation

(Hun shows a picture of 3 teenage girls in latex with a traffic light colors. The most malevolent and sadistic smile appears on Shredder's face) -master? -I am so going to enjoy this.
Totally Spies anyone? But those buffoons doesn't stand a chance against Shredder. Besides, he's a villian with good publicity. And, unlike those ridiculous and caricatures for a cliche spy or comics villians, the Foot clan is a real intimidating threat. Not for the Earth, fortunately.

Enhanced ninjas - (do you mean that big foot?) - robot tech from Krang Tech ninjas - Roadkill Rodneys, A6 annihilaors, security droids Mystic ninjas (just mystic, not ninjas) - lots of magic items (sword from nowhere, sword of Yurikawa, king Arthur's sword, ltime machine, teleportation and etc) and creatures (ghosts of Shibano-sama and Chakahachi) that gave Shredder and his flunkies more magic abilities then just 5 elemental powers. Ninja - clones - the Kojima brothers. Mutated ninjas (pfff, just mutants, no ninja) - dozens of mutants aside brom Bebop and Rocksteady: Slas,Leatherhead,Tokka,Rahzar,Groundchuck,Dirtbag and etc. Not to mention an army of aliens of all shapes and sizes from Dimension X. Plus almost unstoppable army of rock soldiers. The only missing point is elite ninjas (just because this is a kid's show, so there's no place for such brutality as undefeatable at the end of the episode antagonist) I don't try to deffend the goofiness or wackiness of the old show, but IDW showed us that all the stuff that has been shown in the 80's cartoon could be just as cool , brutal and epic as the 03 series (if not better). It's all MWF's fault.
