Yo sifd, when you hover over the engineering stat in the shop and it shows you its description, it tells you that all other stats on the screen DON'T affect your structures (aka turrets) so going for attack speed and %damage doesn't help your turrets they will only affect your own weapons

I think i know why you didn't get healed on the last wave. It wasn't that they were all on cooldown, in fact some were going off as you dying. I believe that the shots were being blocked by the bosses, and since they only have one pierce and the enemies count as entities, I believe they were blocking the shots from reaching you, therefore you couldn't heal. Loving the modded brotato runs a lot!!!
For turret build legendaries - Diploma, Exoskeleton, and Robot Arm all buff engineering. There's also the simple red legendary ranked turret. Curious about Ricochet - it says "your projectiles" but if it affects the turrets then that would be extremely powerful, esp. for the red turrets, as we know exploding shells blow up each time they bounce. Another might be Explosive Shells - it says it buffs explosive damage, so it that affects the red turrets then that could be big too.
i know some arent happy with the mods but i have to say I think its great, I wont personally use mods but its fun to watch the videos doing all the cool things we want to do but isnt really possible in the base game! excited to watch this one, who doesnt love a ridiculous amount of turrets !!! thanks.
I'm pretty sure that the game round down in what it shows, but gives you the exact value. So the +6 with 25% gives +7.5, which shows +7. But if you get two of the +6, the game senses +12, and gives +15 instead of +14 (+7 and +7).
Haha, great run but uh, 16 +15 = 31 then 7 more = 38 then 7 more = 45 but with 8 mines we're looking at 53 if you want to count those. Modded run idea: Multitasker with 12 flamethrowers and picking up snakes from rainbow chests. Just set the entire map on fire at once! (Maybe get increased enemies from Gentle Alien and Mouse too so you can set more things on fire).

if you play as lucky and get your luck to 200 every chest you get from trees and mobs are garunteed rainbow i managed to get 7 every round after wwave 12

dont forget the piercing bouncing exploding modifiers all still work, so i guess knockback, burning, exploding corpses and whatever else

This is true that's why you'll see red and green 0. Normally meaning -0.5 and +0.5 respectively.

I believe the ONLY thing that affects turrets is engineering. They are not affected by damage mods or attack speed mods.

a challenge idea: u have to pick the very first item in the shop and make a run with it
Multitasker run with the expanded ghost weapons mod. Focus luck but you have to put most of your rainbow boxes into turrets.
Maybe try the old character with turrets, the map size is very small so the turrets also cover the whole map and stay close to eachother
My idea: pick well rounded character and only pick potato in rainbow crate's and use potato launcher as a weapon if not just use what weapon you like

The dev should make it so that turrets scale from attack speed, range and damage or range damage to make them actually usefull on normal runs.

i did this my first playthrough in vanilla and won ez pz. it's probably the best build
Build idea: bazooka (or other explosions) and explosion range with the goal to have global explosions
Sifd do the guy with half prices with only getting coupons so by the time your at wave 20 all items are free
